[–]pande152 196 points197 points ago

I ignored you because you were covered in blood and slurring your words

[–]daniel_hlfrd 90 points91 points ago

And spaghetti was falling out of her pockets.

[–]phrankygee 6 points7 points ago

That's the 2nd reference to that tonight. I don't get it. Someone helpful explain?

[–]harryspotter 26 points27 points ago

It's a reference to greentext stories /v/ used to tell about being in embarrassing situations, mostly in Gamestop. Spaghetti falling out of your pockets is more or less a metaphor for being horrendously awkward, sweaty, nervous, and possibly constipated, in an embarrassing situation involving a crowd of people, most of which are much more attractive and normal than you are, and having the situation just get worse and worse over time.

http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/spaghetti-stories

[–]K_rent 2 points3 points ago

so pretty much every awkward silence i've ever had, sweet.

[–]wilu 5 points6 points ago

Does that have anything to do with the extra spaghetti version of Lose Yourself?

[–]NwsAt11 12 points13 points ago

[–]frellingaround 3 points4 points ago

Is this...most people's life story? It's mine. Except for the constipation.

[–]Five_deadly_venoms 57 points58 points ago

You said "Woot" out loud?

[–]Woovie 16 points17 points ago

This, precisely this. I would've ignored you too.

[–][deleted] 1105 points1106 points ago

Reddit is 125th in global internet traffic. Redditors are not rare and, frankly, most of you are twats.

[–]Miadhawk[!] 173 points174 points ago

Wait Bing has more traffic than us?

[–]shoes_of_mackerel 95 points96 points ago

It's integrated into IE now.

[–]johnnynutman 308 points309 points ago

IE has more traffic than reddit?

[–]logicalLove 24 points25 points ago

I remember a post a while back the compared IE to religon. Basically went as follows:

You still have IE/believe in religon because:

• It was there when you started • You're not smart enought to change it • [Not sure]You don't know any better

I'm too lazy to find the original.

[–]tortured_brain 9 points10 points ago

[–]Womackx 5 points6 points ago

someone wasn't lazy

[–]johnnynutman 2 points3 points ago

i remember that also. it's pretty true about a lot of things.

[–]Sindragon 1 point2 points ago

*too

[–]bighandxyz 1 point2 points ago

IE9 is actually not that bad. Microsoft lost their chance at dominating the browser market, but they sure did a good job at redeeming themselves with the new IE

[–]psytrancedsquid 1 point2 points ago

its integrated into windows now

[–]GMKO 1 point2 points ago

Because it lets you download Firefox.

[–]johnnygrant 1 point2 points ago

IE is still big in China

[–]rapngrapes 1 point2 points ago

It comes installed....

[–]passwordisniner 1 point2 points ago

and maaaaaaaaaaany corporate usage agreements with Microsoft.

[–]Eurobob 22 points23 points ago

Only since reddit discovered it's awesome for searching for porn.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points ago

Better than google?

[–]Eurobob 13 points14 points ago

Supposedly, i haven't actually tried it myself yet, but i've seen many redditors testify its superior porn-searching technology.http://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/wo6ss/bing_actually_got_something_right/ and ctrl+f porn

[–]WeeBabySeamus 1 point2 points ago

This may be life changing news.

[–]flotwig 1 point2 points ago

[–]Randomacts 2 points3 points ago

Writes note

Thanks random internet stranger..

For science.. Right umm

yeah.

[–]oneAngrySonOfaBitch 1 point2 points ago

it shows porn in the video search , with full audio previews.... so yes.

[–]NightBanjo 2 points3 points ago

TIL Pinterest gets more traffic than reddit. It is 42.

[–]SilverXaxis 1 point2 points ago

Tumblr also. It's 34th.

[–]Sindragon 37 points38 points ago

Added to which, there are plenty of people who visit reddit who don't consider themselves "redditors".

I buy shit from Amazon. I'm not an Amazonian.

I have a Gmail account. I'm not a Gmailien.

I sometimes read reddit. End of story. I don't define myself by the websites I visit.

[–]TwEE-N-Toast 6 points7 points ago

Same thing with people who enjoy video games calling themselves "gamers". I never understood it.

[–]Bradp13 1 point2 points ago

Be in college for Game Development. Have every professor call you "the gamers". Fuckin cringe.

[–]samifira200 16 points17 points ago

"You may be interested in: 1. Jailbait"?

Way to keep it classy guys...

[–]Murcalumis 1 point2 points ago

I'm just surprised that Taylor Swift holds the number 2 and 3 spots. I know she's absolutely gorgeous, but she's a country singer. I thought for sure that people in the world hated country more than even her beauty. Glad I was wrong.

[–]nss68 19 points20 points ago

agreed, in my experience, it is the 'WOO! i am a redditor!" crowd that is MOST annoying and socially awkward. Like the dude with the crooked glasses that can't quite have a fluid conversation due to asbergers or something. He is the one coming up to you and celebrating the possibility of becoming friends based on this similarity of interests

[–]hakkzpets 8 points9 points ago

Similarity of interest is a good ground to build a friendship on though. What most people who does these kind of awkward things don't get is that normal people don't run up to a person and scream random shit just because they share one of your interest.

It would be like a guy overhearing someone talk about Karate at the mall and going up to him and say "Kyaaaa!". You won't get friends that way. Period.

[–]NghtRppr 1 point2 points ago

Similarity of interest is a good ground to build a friendship on though.

Maybe. I'm not certain, especially in regards to dating. I used to look for chicks that like what I like but then it's all just "I like X. Me too. What about... Yep." There definitely needs to be some conflict or it just gets boring. Now I just look for big titties and DSL's. Then when I find out they like country music, I get the added bonus of trolling them for it.

[–]hakkzpets 1 point2 points ago

When I said friendship, I was really talking about friendship.

[–]NghtRppr 1 point2 points ago

What's your boggle? I acknowledged that you were talking about platonic friendship, which is why I said "especially". Romantic relationships involve friendship too.

[–]iagainsti 2 points3 points ago

It's like the people who get to a YouTube video through reddit and insist on commenting, "HEY. GOT HERE FROM REDDIT LOLOL!!"

Probably the same people who read rage comics

[–]nomdeanon 1 point2 points ago

assburgers.

[–]Tunis1jp 1 point2 points ago

Yup, like it's this big secret club that no one knows about. It's akin to hearing someone else talk about a TV show and get all excited at the prospect that you've found a new best friend. I know quite a few people that enjoy the same entertainment or activities as me, but I can't stand them as people. On top of all of that considering the wide variety of content on here, I wouldn't even go so far as assuming people that visit this site have similar interests.

[–]angepocalypse 6 points7 points ago

Yeah, and why is the term "redditor" even a thing? It's a website (theres a billion of them), and a popular one at that, you shouldn't be given a stupid label just for frequenting it. Do you ever here people saying "googler" or "facebooker"? No, because most redditors are twats.

[–]strictlydiversified 2 points3 points ago

did you see number 45 in the us

[–]girlheartsfett 32 points33 points ago

And that's why some of us don't post and just lurk, too many jerkwads. I wouldn't hang out with anyone from here simply because the way everyone is treated, especially the newcomers or people who don't 'follow' along with the hivemind. You should come hang out in /r/hookah, not a single rude comment or asshole Redditor yet =D

[–][deleted] 73 points74 points ago

advertising it... that's a good way to get invaded by the types you're worried about. Uh...you cunt. Or something abusive to illustrate my point.

[–]devilsadvocado 8 points9 points ago

Many of the smaller subreddits are chill and full of nice people. Also, reddit as a whole is kinder than most other anonymous internet communities.

[–]PigDog4 1 point2 points ago

Except for the baseless witch hunts that destroy people's careers over trivial things.

Or maybe I'm just bitter at /r/starcraft. I remember when it used to not suck.

[–]HiveMindNotMe 1 point2 points ago

I will invade and make you better, like us, one of us.

[–]Kodiack 1 point2 points ago

Hmm, the "You may be interested in..." results are...interesting. Jailbait leads by a considerable margin, then there's a bunch of stuff about Taylor Swift and music videos.

We really are twats!

[–]CobraStallone 1 point2 points ago

Reddit is 257th in my country, so I would be happy to randomly encounter a fellow Redditor.

[–]theCHAMPdotcom 1 point2 points ago

thank you, 20 millions unique visitors a month....

[–]emlgsh 1 point2 points ago

You tell those reddit users, fellow reddit user!

[–]redditisforphaggots 8 points9 points ago

tbh, if someone near me mentioned reddit, my first instinct would be of antagonism. Proudly identifying with this forum is about as bad as saying that the only news you watch is foxnews.

[–]cheechong 11 points12 points ago

Ah the old reddit user hating reddit users and reddit itself.

[–]NoSarcasmHere 8 points9 points ago

He/she never said they hated reddit itself, just the users.

[–]dman8000 1 point2 points ago

I like Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but I would never want to be friends with any of the cast members. Same principle.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points ago

slightly camp voice "mmmm, i hated reddit before it was cool, guys look at me, aren't I great for pointing out how awful this place is?"

The archetypal twat-in-a-club pointing out how crap and mainstream the club is. And yet, he keeps coming.

[–]girlheartsfett 4 points5 points ago

implying Reddit is a club

You're my new favorite account holder.

[–]PigDog4 1 point2 points ago

I kind of agree with him. I like reddit, I just hate most of the users.

It's not that much different than liking tennis but hating all of your teammates.

[–]MothSlayer 305 points306 points ago

Dude...you got downvoted IRL

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]imissapostrophes 103 points104 points ago

"Wow, a fellow googler! Bro-fist!"

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]boulking 9 points10 points ago

[–]Capn_Of_Rum 1 point2 points ago

She's mouthing "Stop it" while giving him a death glare. But she is good at that smile for the cameras.

[–]Skytso 4 points5 points ago

tbh, she probably didn't mouth "Stop it"... she probably just said it.

[–]NeenerNanner 16 points17 points ago

"Fellow Red-tuber! Deep Fist"!

[–]derpitagain 6 points7 points ago

totally read that in a nasally melvin voice

[–]donaldrobertsoniii 82 points83 points ago

Around 35 million people visit reddit each month, about 65% of them live in the U.S. That works out to about 22 million redditors in the states, or about 7% of the total population. That would mean that there are more redditors in the U.S. than there are Asians. So don't be surprised if you run into a redditor who doesn't care that you are also a redditor.

[–]Fanntastic 98 points99 points ago

Incidentally, everytime I see an Asian I go "woot! Asian!" and offer a high five. Same response...

[–]AndIMustScream 26 points27 points ago

There was an upperclassman on my college who wore a burqua.

Everytime we passed we highfived. I don't even know her name

[–]MissPezerific 22 points23 points ago

Did you wear a burqua too? Or is it a well known fact that burqua-wearers are compulsive high-fivers and I just don't know about it?

[–]evitagen-armak 3 points4 points ago

Next time you meet a person with a burqua you should try it!

[–]AndIMustScream 1 point2 points ago

-I- thought it was a well known fact.

[–]ralf_ 1 point2 points ago

You also don't even know her face?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points ago

It's still somewhat of a novelty here in the UK from what I can discern. Though the Aussies are rapidly getting addicted to it.

[–]Atario 2 points3 points ago

Those don't square with the numbers I see.

https://www.google.com/adplanner/site_profile?pli=1#siteDetails?uid=domain%253A%2520reddit.com&geo=US&lp=false

0.8% reach within the US means around 2.4M people in any given month see it.

[–]donaldrobertsoniii 1 point2 points ago

Hm, that is strange. They list unique visitors as being much lower than what reddit states. Perhaps I was misinterpreting that figure from the blog? I assumed it meant monthly unique visitors, but perhaps it means something else?

[–]inormallyjustlurkbut 1 point2 points ago

I have a hard time believing that nearly 1 in 10 people in the US use Reddit. Is it possible those numbers are inflated somehow?

[–]riptaway 614 points615 points ago

If some random guy at walmart said "woot, fellow redditor", I would ignore them as well. It's a popular internet site, and you're just some letters on my screen.

[–]NotaMethAddict 207 points208 points ago

You're both wrong, the proper response to meeting a fellow Redditor is "Lol wen does the Narwhal Bacon!?" to test if he/she is a true Redditor.

Edit: This is obvious satire...

[–]ILL_Show_Myself_Out 43 points44 points ago

I never even saw this "Narwhal Bacon" thing, all I see is people bitching about how you SHOULDN'T do it. I mean, its like I showed up here and the redditors all say "Now make sure you never ask when the Narwhal Bacons," and I'm like "ok...? what?"

[–]Brandaman 27 points28 points ago

"When does the Narwhal bacon?"

"Midnight"

Was some weird pass code thing. Not sure why it was created, or its origins.

[–]BodyMassageMachineGo 1 point2 points ago

Ha ha Saydrah. What a hilarious shit storm that little episode was.

[–]workisnsfl 14 points15 points ago

It's basically the mudkips thing from 4chan, totally pointless. Who wants random people in public knowing you go to an internet site?

[–]Fishyswaze 19 points20 points ago

I don't really understand why people wouldn't just ask if someone uses reddit if youre curious...

[–]billwoo 9 points10 points ago

Because they might lie and say they do when they really don't! They you might accidentally become friends with someone who doesn't use reddit! Imagine!

[–]Sippin_Haterade 1 point2 points ago

Wait. So are you telling me that acting socially awkward ISN'T more effective?

[–]elr3y 4 points5 points ago

Somebody posted on Reddit, that they were on some airport and their plane was really late, and he/she was bored and asked if they were any other redditors at this particular airport. And somebody suggested they use the code word "When does the narwhal bacon?" "Midnight"; so they could find each other!

[–]mynoduesp 2 points3 points ago

It was back before the dig migration, I've seen many memes rise and fall in my time here. That was just suggested as a joke in a comment thread and people just took it to heart.

[–]A-retinalDevelopment 7 points8 points ago

... Yeah you do.

Just like you remember when you couldn't go to the rally to restore sanity and therefore, carrotts, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha,

le sigh

[–]Nidies 1 point2 points ago

Well, technically it was "The Narwhal bacons at midnight!" and the response was "Coo-coo-cachoo!"

But for some reason, the coo-coo-cachoo was lost, which is terrible, as it is the significantly better protion of the "catch phrase".

As to why it came about, I don't remember exactly, but it had something to do with some idiot making a post saying we needed to make a Redditor call, where say if we found a fellow Redditor in the great big open, we say part one, they reply with part two, awkward pause for a second or two, and then they continue on with their lives. That was the top comment in that thread, and the coo-coo-cachoo thing was the top reply to it.

[–]GreenGlassDrgn 11 points12 points ago

so this happened to me, and dude was very disappointed that I couldn't recall the correct response...

[–]Whiskey-Business 76 points77 points ago

The appropriate reply is actually 'fuck off'

[–]GreenGlassDrgn 3 points4 points ago

pretty much had those same words ready to roll off my tongue, but he was a friend's friend, so I had to be nice.

[–]Thunderkiss_65 2 points3 points ago

You're nice to your friend's friends? I struggle to be nice to my friends.

[–]entbeard 25 points26 points ago

[–]AllGrayEryDay 5 points6 points ago

Someone actually asked me that once. I believe the correct response is "yeah, cool, midnight, whatever, leave me alone".

[–]DoWhile 6 points7 points ago

Satire? Don't you mean carrots?!

[–]Manisil 1 point2 points ago

someone said that to me once, I stood up and left immediately after they had finished speaking.

[–]Dcornelissen 8 points9 points ago

Perhaps in USA, if I met a fellow redditor here (the netherlands) it would be a moment of joy :)

[–]omega0male 13 points14 points ago

Maybe in America it is, but im from scotland it would be very rare to find someone that used Reddit here, very very rare.

[–]Reanimator 2 points3 points ago

Exactly, it used to be interesting to find out which of your friends or acquaintances were on reddit, but now I feel like I'd just as easily be in league with middle school kids drawing rage comics as I would be my old college friends.

[–]Glazed_BEagle 109 points110 points ago

My new rule: I never high five someone who says "woot"

[–]notanothercirclejerk 1 point2 points ago

What about a double woop?

[–]LardLad00 1 point2 points ago

Only if it's actually Bubb Rubb.

[–]CtrlC_plus_CtrlV 20 points21 points ago

[–]lolsail 270 points271 points ago

Wow, TIL that reddit was some super secret club that only certain elite individuals know about.

I can't wait till I hear someone mention "facebook", so I can run up to them with a goofy grin and hump their legs. I mean, seriously, running into another user of a site with millions of users - improbable right?

[–]heuheuheuheuh 118 points119 points ago

DUDE. Fellow youtuber?? NO WAY!

[–]groug 77 points78 points ago

WHOA! You're on the Internet TOO? What are the odds?!?!?!

[–]heuheuheuheuh 23 points24 points ago

My shit has been flipped.

[–]Overthelake 19 points20 points ago

My jimmies are rustled.

[–]ilikehamburgers 12 points13 points ago

[–]RepostThatShit 1 point2 points ago

You also have to take shits? Phew, felt a little lonely at the top for a second there.

[–]ClericalNinja 43 points44 points ago

You own a COMPUTER!?!?!? Universe Implodes

[–]Friendly_Ax_Murderer 2 points3 points ago

Hey you! I also internet! Zomg!

[–]ohmanimstoned 5 points6 points ago

Whoa you like money AND sex? You're totally tripping me out. We should like, hang out or something.

[–]lolsail 8 points9 points ago

HIGH FIVE MAN. Oh. :(

[–]Blaculahunter 6 points7 points ago

Well it's not like people wear green shirts of a certain website, then post them on said site in hopes of "making it."

[–]ET_Talon 1 point2 points ago

boom chive, lol....

[–]GeekyAine 46 points47 points ago

Confession bear: until this thread, I didn't realize it wasn't ok to be excited about meeting other redditors.

[–]Ackyroth 7 points8 points ago

It's the main reason I've stopped after asking 2 or 3 new people I've met if they've heard of reddit. None of them have and if so none of them would care to discuss it. The real redditors that are enthusiastic are the ones in the dorms.

[–][deleted] 56 points57 points ago

Its not an exclusive club, but no need to be an ass about it. If someone offers a friendly greeting you can return it and move along, even if you think it may be a bit silly. Him making a point to ignore you actually made it a bigger deal than you even mentioning it. Dont let it get you down, maybe he was having a shit day. Thats what I tell myself when people are rude.

[–]Frankocean2 1 point2 points ago

I'm sad by all this responses about how reddit it's just a website, like people can't be excited for anything that it somehow means something for him/her.

Maybe reddit is special for many of us, maybe for some of you is just a fucking website or whatever, but you should at least be polite or educated about it.

Being too cool of a person, just make you looks like a douche.

[–]girlheartsfett 4 points5 points ago

This is one of the most gentle Reddit posts I've read in a month, everyone here is always so negative and hateful. I wish I could give you a hug! Keep being positive, the world NEEDS people like you! <3<3<3

[–]acausbu 1 point2 points ago

You... what are you...

[–]lolpete 1 point2 points ago

The world has people like that, they're just off doing things that matter.

[–]timsbleung 5 points6 points ago

[–]Brick_Astley 13 points14 points ago

I bet he was buying potatos

[–]Tackett79 8 points9 points ago

For his anus?

[–]Brick_Astley 2 points3 points ago

No, to feed his enslaved McDonalds spokesperson.

[–]NiceRepost 20 points21 points ago

Maybe he was "mentioning" how much he hates that piece of shit site "Reddit". You should feel lucky he didn't punch you square in the face for doing that.

[–]Fanntastic 16 points17 points ago

You're absolutely right. I would beat a child for talking about reddit in public.

[–]BootsLikeMafia 10 points11 points ago

This website is getting far too meta and becoming far too much of an elaborate inside joke for me to handle.

[–]Penny_is_a_Bitch 8 points9 points ago

Well, I would have high fived you, OP. Maybe you're better off that you didn't touch his right hand?

[–]FaKeShAdOw 8 points9 points ago

Nobody ever says "OH MAN YOU USE GOOGLE TOO?!!!"

Please act this way.

[–]holodog 8 points9 points ago

Employee #1: "Hey man did you see that employee memo about stocking the toy department?"

Employee #2: "Yeah, I read it."

Random customer: "OMG REDDIT! THE NARWHAL BACONS AT MIDNIGHT! LOL LOL LOL CAT PICS!"

Employees: "..."

[–]inside_your_face 3 points4 points ago

The same thing happened to me a few nights ago, was at a gig and was buying some merch from one of the bands. The guy went to shake my hand as I turned away after saying thanks. I was already about 160 degrees round before it registered he was going for a handshake, if I’d turned back around to shake his hand it would’ve been this whole awkward situation so I just bailed. I really think about this shit too much.

[–]YesbutDrWho 6 points7 points ago

[–]mayimayi 5 points6 points ago

redditors have all the social grace of a tree squirrel

[–]AndIMustScream 4 points5 points ago

The tree squirrels in my backyard are extremely friendly Especially when mushrooms.

[–]Pratty643 2 points3 points ago

Haha Reynolds... The most striking outest player in MLB... Poor guy... But he can still deny his coach a high five?

[–]brahmss 2 points3 points ago

you said "woot" irl? wut

[–]murderbum999 2 points3 points ago

How I imagine it went down:

"woot, fellow redditor!... don't leave me hanging bro... bet you're also a facebooker!... come on... youtuber? still no?... okay."

"Walk away, weirdo".

[–]Trapped_in_Reddit 45 points46 points ago

I saw a guy out at the bar last weekend wearing the official Reddit uniform: a Reddit t-shirt, cargo shorts, and a fedora. So we awkwardly said hello.

[–]dubu 46 points47 points ago

The official reddit uniform for going out to the bar is: food stained shirt and boxers. And the bar is your room.

[–]mbss 27 points28 points ago

uhhh, that's a lil formal, don't you think?

[–]itoucheditforacookie 1 point2 points ago

I think it is an average, undershirt and mesh shorts here... and a fedora of course.

[–]Elwood_ 28 points29 points ago

False: you don't ever go outside.

[–]SupermanV2 43 points44 points ago

Wait. I met TIR and I didn't even realize? Shitballs.

[–]Sogeking99 5 points6 points ago

Man that poor guy, I feel his pain.

I was once offered a shake from an someone I new reasonably well, I extended my hand, but he went for the 'bro shake' type thing. Then I was like 'oh shit', changed to pro shake formation but he had already returned to default shake formation.

[–]mr_coffee 2 points3 points ago

I've at this happen as well and at one point I was shaking a fist pump and then I brought another hand around to double embrace the fist pump. It made the awkward situation turn SILLY.

Reddit is not a culture, Reddit is not a club or an organization, or even a collection of like-minded people, Reddit is not even original content most of the time.

It's just a website, a website with millions of visitors every day.

[–]theamazinchad 4 points5 points ago

Upvote because Orioles.

[–]diphiminaids 3 points4 points ago

Please never do that again.

[–]Sleepy_One 11 points12 points ago

Fuck that, I would have high fived you.

[–]TheAmityvillain 20 points21 points ago

Me too... I understand reddit isn't a secret club but, shit, I've gotten a high five from a stranger for wearing a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air shirt and that's not secret either. Shit's just rude, just accept the high-five and move on.

[–]moudine 1 point2 points ago

I give a head nod if someone has the same phone as me. No harm anywhere in being personable.

[–]Shroomian 1 point2 points ago

As an iphone user i would probably injure myself by doing this.

[–]MajorModesty 1 point2 points ago

that gif took a while to fully load too, really makes you think about the shame

[–]criticalnegation 1 point2 points ago

as much as i like reddit, the whole reddit solidarity thing is beyond me...always strikes me as an incredibly lonely sentiment. it's equivalent to feeling an emotional connection with a complete stranger when you find out they use the internet, too. reddit is a tool for browsing the internet, much like google. would you feel an emotional connection with every stranger who uses google?

[–]usernamesmusername 2 points3 points ago

Goddamn there are some assholes up in here.

So what if there are millions of other Redditors? no need to be a dick. A simple nod of the head, tip of the hat to show that you even acknowledged another human reaching out to you over a common interest.

Reddit or not, I guess I'm embarrassed, because that's just simply not how I treat other people.

[–]dingobiscuits 1 point2 points ago

looking more closely at this gif, I don't think this took place in a Walmart at all. in fact, I don't even think that's a supermarket.

[–]MiracleManSC2 0 points1 point ago

op, you are a huge fag.

[–]ChrisQF 1 point2 points ago

you'd get ignored by me as well, just because someone else uses the same website as me (in itself not a big deal in the slightest, this subreddit alone has over 2 million readers) doesn't mean I give a fuck about them.

[–]hanjunhyuk 1 point2 points ago

"woot, fellow business shirt wearer!" "Woot, fellow public urinal pisser!" "woot, fellow starbucks drinker!"

[–]Artyom2033 1 point2 points ago

"I overheard that you use facebook too, lets be friends!"

[–]FunnyDude007 1 point2 points ago

That gif is hilarious. The guy is either a Redditor in denial or was just trying to get the heck outta there before ending up on Peopleofwalmart.

[–]C_T_C_C 1 point2 points ago

He was probably from/r/spacedicks

[–]singingbatman27 1 point2 points ago

Definitely thought he was going to trip and fall down the stairs.

[–]nomdeanon 1 point2 points ago

If you were at walmart you probably heard: "shure, i gots me a book, dun mean i reddit!"

[–]sknabc 1 point2 points ago

Story of my life. This literally happens everyday. Except I'm just trying to say hi.

[–]Back_Stabbath 1 point2 points ago

i actually hung out with a dude from Conde Naste last night. we got into a discussion with other redditors about how redditors are lame...

[–]Purplelurple123 1 point2 points ago

worst feeling in the world when someone rejects your high five:(

[–]mezacoo 1 point2 points ago

If I hear about reddit I generally ignore it. I have a bumper sticker say I upvote the internet, but aside from that I keep the fact I browse reddit to myself. Now if they are talking about a front page story, I may jump into it if im at college.

[–]Skytso 1 point2 points ago

And redditors wonder why they're Forever Alone.

Don't be a dick. Say hi.

[–]flyingwhales3 1 point2 points ago

one of the funniest gifs ive come across

[–]rokkitgurl[!] 1 point2 points ago

Didn't you get the memo, most redditors are actually total assholes... Had the same thing happen to me, except he told me I was ugly as well...at a reddit meetup. :(

[–]The-Tots 3 points4 points ago

Loser

[–]Vonka 2 points3 points ago

I would have done the same thing. I'm tired of everyone treating reddit like its some super secret club. It's not that miraculous to come across another redditor. My mom surfs reddit, so do all my friends and most people I come into contact with. Calm down.

[–]userandpass 1 point2 points ago

Fail bigtime! a fellow reddit should stay in reddit and not IRL.

[–]butters0114 1 point2 points ago

Never thought I'd see the day an Orioles gif was posted on Reddit. Thank you.
