I used to be in Life Teen at a church. In three years FIVE girls got pregnant... Perhaps this is a "blessing" in disguise!

PS: Use protection.

Growing up, I moved a lot. I can say with absolute certainty that youth groups are by far the easiest place to get laid as a kid, no matter where you are. Where else do you meet in groups and adults leave you alone?

It baffles me how people wouldn't use at the very least a condom. They even have vaginal contraceptive foam.

I get it. I'm forced to go as well. I have to participate in all of my catholic family's religious ceremonies, prayers, chants, sacraments, etc. I was confirmed and all. My parents really don't see how ridiculous their actions are, so I have to go. It really sucks. Best of luck.

Say no thanks?

I tried. I told her i don't believe in that Christian shit and she asked me what i did believe in so i said science!

[–]studmuffffffin 0 points1 point ago

How old are you?

[–]enhancin 0 points1 point ago

Try to explain to her that you don't believe in this and you feel like you never will. You don't care if they continue to do that, however it may make you uncomfortable to be in that situation so you want to stop.

For my family it was more about image than the actual religion I think. My mom tried to keep my faith strong but I lost it before I turned 8 and got baptized to appease her and slowly got my way out of the church. (LDS if you're wondering)

I already told i dont believe and never will but it failed so ill tell her i feel unconfortable. Thanks

Pay attention. Take notes. If you have to go, at least make something of it.

Also, church is often more than just listening to a sermon and praying. There's a lot of socializing. Friend opportunity!

Stand your ground right now. If you cave in even once and go to church with the rest of your family, it will be harder to quit later because they will feel like you are deserting. The time to resist is now.

Church isn't all that bad. Hot girls, free food (sometimes), and you get reflect on why you turned into an atheist in the first place. It is always good to remind yourself why.

[–]BlessedHeretic 4 points5 points ago

Free food is the only good reason to go to a church. The hot women as you put would probably sooner call you a heathen than be kind to you. If they are believers anyway.

Pretty sure none of us need a reminder of why we are atheists. The whole lack of evidence kinda is a obvious reminder day to day.

Free food? Yup, one small "cookie" is really worth standing and listening to some pedophile in dress talk nonsense about some jew killed 2012 years ago.

[–]Supremeginger[S] 0 points1 point ago

If i had to go id troll the fuck outa that pedophile
