"Manipulative"? hahahahahahaha. That's frankly a ridiculous sentiment. How is planning ahead politically "manipulative"?

Just look at companies like Coca Cola who target all their advertisement to teens. They know that cola choice is an arbitrary decision made in your teens based on what your friends are drinking socially and what's available. Those choices will probably stay with the person their entire life, therefore targeted advertisements to a 40 year old are relatively ineffective at persuading them in comparison.

In this situation, pro-cannabis truths are supplied to people who are looking for those truths, but are fed nothing but lies by teachers and parents. Imagine how different the world's perspective on cannabis would be if we all had a friend who could tell us the truth about marijuana when we were most curious and receptive? There is nothing "manipulative" going on here, you are frankly quite naive. Anti-marijuana groups have been using the same techniques on teens for decades in an attempt to make them grow up to lobby against it. What do you think D.A.R.E. is? What do you think all these "Stop Drugs" commercials that we see are? We laugh at them because we know better, but they're not designed for us, they're designed for youth who know nothing about cannabis. They're designed to misinform a teen so that when they're old enough to vote, they vote against cannabis because the commercials told them it kills people.
