My Brazilian friend explained to me why most Brazilian players on WoW are annoying. It's because 90% of them are 8 year old kids playing in a cyber cafe.

This would explain a shit load. We use to have Brazilian people troll lfr's non stop and it was usually 5 or more pricks. I opened a ticket and nothing was ever done about it. They would start spine right after a wipe and laugh or jump on another platform and dps the arm.

I've actually read that a lot of Russians still play WoW on English servers because they don't want to deal with those asshole Russians.

I always used to leave LFR if there was more than one person from Azralon or Tol Barad. Every single time there were 2+ of them, all they did was troll the group by intentionally doing mechanics wrong in an attempt to ruin the run. It was literally sickening.

I'm guilty of this in LFD and BGs as well. I don't think they intentionally do it wrong, I think they just don't care to learn. It's incredibly annoying doing LBRS or BRD with people who literally run the opposite way as you're pulling.

I played a game of dota 2 last night where the only english words my team knew were "fuck you noobie."

I seriously had google translate open on my 2nd monitor so I could figure out what the fuck "sai" meant when they kept screaming it in voice chat. I thought they were talking about the ninja weapons.

I used to play on BRSong in Vanilla, until my guild (Corp Hur for anyone from the oldie times) transferred to Wildhammer. The officers came to the decision to make a guild wide transfer after we were.... infiltrated with portuguese trolls. I love the Brazilian people, but I hate to be so blunt to say that my gaming experience with them has been sub-par.

I'm Brazilian and I was about to defend my fellow countrymen... until I remembered how many times I told Brazilian players to piss off in both English and Portuguese. There's a reason why I keep my nationality (and gender) a secret in games, mostly to avoid the massive racist backlash which occurs when one discovers my nationality.

Tibia is an MMORPG that I played for 8 years (imo the best MMO I have ever played, but unfortunately the creators made bad decision after decision and completely ruined it. It has been constantly failing for many years :< ), it was always plagued by Brazilians that are represented by this image perfectly. You would constantly be asked "Br???" and they spoke in a superbly noobish way "pls gib iten" etc.

So for Americans your problem is with Brazilians. For Europe the trouble seems to mostly come from Eastern Europe. Every time I find trouble I always find myself telling people to go away in Polish. Don't get me wrong I've found plenty of good Polish players, but most of the young players and trolls I find also come from there.

Poland is central europe. You are talking about Ukrainians, latvian, lithuanians, russians, belarussians and so on.

Also 90%+ of polish community in all wow is on burning legion.

Poland is pretty lined with Latvia and Lithuania. Whilst Poland joins with Germany I would consider the eastern part of it to be pretty much within Eastern Europe. Saying that, I did generalize with the countries a bit in my comment as I've also had the same with Ukrainians and Russians back before they had their own realms.

As for Latvians, I am Latvian myself yet sadly never met a Latvian on WoW. They seem to keep to themselves at least.

We are in the same boat. Also i did not say that the countries that i listed are the ones who make eastern europe in wow look bad. I just said that they are in fact eastern europe, while poland is Central europe. However as far as your generalizing goes, im sorry but i think it was generalized just to make your country look better, i cant blame you, because we do the same :)

i'd think brazillians play on the brazillian servers now, makes no sense to me that they are on warsong still, specially since they gave out free transfers when they opened (i think).

It's especially difficult when you're trying to express something that would either help them improve their character or keep them (or the group) from dying to boss mechanics.

At this point if I find myself in a group with multiple people from the Latin America servers, I just take the deserter debuff. I'd rather do dailies for 30 minutes than continue through a dungeon where I feel like I'm going to rip my hair out or beat my forehead against my desk. I'm sure there are plenty of good players out there, but I've had so many bad dungeon experiences from leveling 12 85s that I don't even want to bother any more.

Blizzard are known to give free server transfers to new/low populated servers.

It's because it takes what seems like fifty people to have the server list be bumped up to "Medium" population so it makes the servers seem more populated then they actually are.

I've been fortunate in that I've only had a couple of LFRs get actively trolled. What I have found is if a player is in LFR or LFD and from Drenden, it's a pleasant surprise if they're not an asshole.

I remember when LFD first came out, I discovered people from Gurubashi were almost without exception horrible players and horrible people, and I had no idea why. I found out later it was mostly a BR realm, and I tried really hard to chalk up the differences to cultural differences and a language barrier, but I just couldn't enjoy playing with them. It was one of those cases where the good, normal people (rare as they were) were really quiet and made little to no impact on my opinion, but the bad ones were just REALLY bad.

I didn't move specifically to get away from them, but I was ridiculously happy when a side effect of my server transfer meant I wasn't going to be playing with them anymore. And LFD was fantastic... until they linked battlegroups together and Cyclone got tossed back in with Reckoning. :|

If there's more than one person, or a tank/heals from Quel'Thelas, I will leave. QT is a server with generally piss poor players that make no attempt to listen to advice. They tend to get bored waiting for more than 10 seconds and will pull regardless of if the tank or heals is available.

I don't mind Spanish/Portuguese speaking players, as long as they're not assholes, and at least carryable.

oO I rolled on Warsong on EU on vanilla release. Only russians and later they offered free mig from it because apparently the russians had "claimed" Warsong before the game was even released or something stupid
