This kind of looks like a Tokay Gecko to me, but I can't tell if it has spots due to the graininess of the .gif.

Not a tokay but a golden gecko. Tokay are generally larger than this, and not a light green / gold hue. They stay blue/grey with red spots. Source 3 years working at petco :)

I can confirm this, have had a Tokay since my 16th birthday. Turning 22 this year. They practically gave her to me because they were tired of being bitten for a half hour at a time. She's so docile now. Never bites anymore and rarely barks at all. Lives peacefully in the same tank with a crocodile gecko. They're best buds. They both cuddle up together on the heating pad. It's adorable.

All that being said, I also thought it was a tokay just because the graininess of the gif made it very difficult to distinguish colors/patterns,
