Yeah, I've definitely been on the side of not hating her (both the actress and the character) as a fan. I think her 'bitchiness' brings in the dynamic of countering Walt's progression throughout the series. If she was just some complacent "sure honey, go do what you like, cook meth" type wife, it would ruin the show. A great example of that necessary "evil" is Joffrey in Game of Thrones. People hate that character so much, that most people see him outside the show and get angry, which is the sign of a great actor and great writing.

I only meant I was surprised to see her on the list, I guess because Cranston, Paul, and Esposito really 'stole the show', so to speak. As I was typing out that comment, I was going to say how I was surprised to see that, but literally meant it when I said "she did have her moments looking back on it". She really came into her own in scenes like when she's being a hard-ass and haggling with Bogdan, the Crawl Space scene that has been mentioned on here already, and of course, when she plays dumb in the IRS meeting.
