Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports). "Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

"Generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission.

Well since I'm a student, I use a service called iDeal to buy stuff online. I'm trying to find it, I can't :c. Plus all prices are now in dollars, am used to paying in euros....It's all very confusing for me :c

What? That shouldn't matter. Whatever region your steam account is locked to is what you pay, which.. if you have a steam account you created from Holland and have bought with euros.. it will still be in euros no matter where you are. Go to Steam's website log in with your account, pay with euros.

Well, I am already logged in, it's still in dollars and no iDeal. I can provide screens if needed. My account was originally made in Aruba few years back. Seriously, This isn't working for me man :c.

Make a new account or a new paypal account in a different region? Why would you make the account in Aruba if you live in Holland? And how have you been buying with Euros if it shows up as dollars in Aruba?

Well, I lived in Aruba all my life and never bought a game online, because I couldn't, I did buy a hard copy of HL2 so that was the only reason why I had an account. Moved to Holland last year to study and, since I got my first evar bank card! I bought games, it was easy....Untill now, it's just not working. Maybe paypal. I'll try that.

Yeah. It makes no sense. If you were able to purchase with euros on your account before now, you should be able to now regardless of where you're standing.

Not dumb, being away from the humdrum of regular life always feels like the best time ever;

few years ago I took a month off work and spent it in Thailand, had an amazing time, took some great pictures, explored, and lost 15lbs.

so yeah, vacation > steam sales
