How I feel when a family member says "I pray for you."

that is too bad. As you get a little older you will learn to value people who care about you enough to spend time thinking about you. Until then, please keep this thought in. Don't let it out. it just hurts people who seem to care about you a bit more than you care about them.

My grandparents say it to me sometimes, and I just say thanks and appreciate it. They are doing a kind thing, that they believe will help. Seeing as you can't disprove god, you may as well take anyone praying for you as a good thing. It isn't going to make anything worse, is it?
