    Those two videos were uploaded in 06 and 07. There were viral videos about the 2004 and even the 2000 election, for instance. I remember watching Jon Stewart tear the assholes on CrossFire a new one. I remember an ultimate showdown, the end of the world. I remember badgers. I remember Trogdor.

      Isn't the definition of a meme just a single idea? A lot of ideas are actually considered memes :). Memes are similar to genes, in that they go through survival of the fittest, and the ones that survive (more popular) continue to spread. But a more narrow definition of internet pictures has taken upon the name of the word meme, which is also true (that's how language works!) so by all technicalities of this slimmer definition, sure it isn't a meme. BUT wouldn't that mean no mean starts out as a meme, and grows into one? The FFFUUUU rage face wasn't immediately popular, and once it became popular, it developed internet stardom, thereupon being dubbed the category "meme"

        It actually was in the series too, but I can't remember which specific episode. There is a second season (also three episodes), but it is not on Netflix. I found it on dailymotion.com so maybe start there if you want to find it? It had each episode in two parts. Cheers.
