Whenever people flash me, I'm blinded for about 20 minutes afterwards, but whenever I attempt to flash people they just shrug it off and shoot me as soon as I appear. Always.

Don't forget that you also get hit by another flash bang immediately afterwards that lasts an extra 20 minutes.

I've discovered that the best way to survive the blinding is to go prone and play dead (PS3: tap triangle, Xbox: tap Y). It's surprising how many enemies will walk right past you haha
