rorschach is possibly one of the most badass characters ever

The whole book was amazing. But I did find myself relating more to Rorshach than the other characters.

It's only had it's chance 35 times in the last six months, maybe it will make it this time.

Rorschach is a great character, but he's right up there with V, Tyler Durden and Alex (deLarge) from A Clockwork Orange in "Protagonists We Should Not Be Idolizing Once We Graduate High School."

Just saying.

It's more the idolization of the character's will to act on his beliefs, something that most people cannot do in any serious way for fear of the consequences. People don't idolize Rorschach's insanity (I hope) so much as his moral fiber and damn-the-consequences behaviour, like V and Tyler Durden. Humans generally aren't doers. They are mostly sheep. But they sympathize with the morality of beating a child murderer to death, even if they would never do it themselves in the same situation.
