While the idea of any karma is pretty pointless, comment Karma can feel more rewarding if you put effort behind your posts.

I mean myself I love to get 1-2 upvotes for my work in /r/buildapc, I have experience building computers, most people in the New Section of /r/buildapc do not. So the knowledge I try to impart for some is invaluable, be it just simple part recomendations or hard core trouble shooting. Comment Karma in a subreddit like /r/buildapc feels better then some shitty meme you submitted to which ever default subreddit you choose. Does it rake in karma? No, I might not even get it cause the people are so new to reddit, but when I do it tells me I'm doing something right for someone who needs it.

I saw Mike Meyers in NYC today down in the lower east side. He passed me and I turned and said "Hey!" And he looked back, and I said "Are you Mike Meyers?" And he said "Yeah!" And I sensed he was in a rush to go somewhere, and even though I had my camera with me and wanted to take a picture, I just said "well have a nice day!" and he responded "you too!"

Pretty neat. Third major celebrity I've run into there. Pretty cool.
