This doesn't motivate me. It frustrates me.

The cat makes it through, looks up, and meows. I can only imagine that the person filming this was egging on the cat to get it on film for amusement. And with an injury? This kind of bullshit should be frowned upon. I don't mean to be a downer, but this is just selfish and cruel.

I don't know, I've never seen an animal inconvenience itself to the point of pain unless it thought it was in direct danger. I doubt the kitten would have kept trying to squeeze through if it was hurting the whole time.

I think we're overestimating how much mass the kitten has. It's probably a lot more flexible than we give it credit for.

It's not a matter of if or how much the animal is hurt. It's a matter of allowing an animal to put itself through a ridiculous, unnecessary, stressful, and potentially harmful situation purely for our own amusement.

Pets are not disposable playthings. They are domesticated animals fiercely dependent upon us for survival. We should keep them for companionship, not amusement.

How the hell is this stressful or harmful? I don't think youve ever had a cat. They love doorways and small spaces, and seem to revel in the challenge.

Cats can unhinge their collar bones to fit through unbelievably thin gaps. Just one more incredible feature of the awesomest predator.
