I'm from saudi arabia, earlier this month the temperature hit 70 celsius. To challenge myself, I ran to the store to get ice cream, microwave pizza and a ps3 game. By the time I got back, I was leaving rubber from my shoes on the tarmac, the ice cream was pudding and there was a slight dent on the plastic case of the cd where I'd been holding it. The next day we left a mountain dew can outside and waited, 40 minutes later, BANG. We rush outside, once the steam cleared, the base of the can had exploded and the dew was evaporating away.

So yeah you take your puny heatwave and call it a major crisis, wimps.

I'm from Melbourne Australia. Melbourne has the most random weather ever but Austalians on the net need stop acting like we have temperatures all over Australia like the temperatures in places like Coober Pedy! Australia's climate is warm but come on 95% of us are tucked up in air conditioned places. And we complain at 8degree days being freezing, when other places would boil. It's all relative. It's weird to think about but relative.

Fuck the Aussies. you jerks are at least seasoned to deal with warmer climates. In Alberta when you spend pretty much the entire year 20 degrees Celsius or lower, winters -20 and below, you aren't prepared for when the weather turns on you and says hey I know you just took a shower but I'm gonna make it 32 degrees today so enjoy the ball sweat all over your body, yeah I think I have a case to bitch.

Sure it's warm where you are and you have these temperatures all the time, but you are accustomed to it. North America is typically a cool, dry climate. This weather sucks for us, wheras it's your average summer. Seriously, if it hits fucking 35 I'm throwing my shoe and calling it a day.
