All I have is a hundred dollar bill. I'm just going to buy this one chili cheese hot dog. I spilled chili on the floor. Do you know where High Street is?

[–]SupaFly-TNT 5 points6 points ago

This reminds me of west chester, pa......

[–]lysergicd0886 2 points3 points ago

ebensburg, pa also has a high street

[–]SupaFly-TNT 4 points5 points ago

but does it have a gay street?

[–]Twaddles 3 points4 points ago

West Chester, Pa the town where you go in high and come out gay.

[–]bootnuts 1 point2 points ago

Hahaha, I love WC. Now I live in KoP :-(

[–]Apple_iPwn 1 point2 points ago

It was free slurpee day yesterday, I feel bad for ya OP

[–]TroubleBruin 138 points139 points ago

Good Guy 7-Eleven Employee - Can't speak English, learns sign language.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 39 points40 points ago

Really though, you wouldn't believe the shit customers say.

[–]Apple_iPwn 9 points10 points ago

[–]bassplayinboy7 1 point2 points ago

We need examples, man.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point ago

I thought "gooks" went out with Vietnam. Turns out I was wrong.

(Customer gets bonus points for his "Howie Carr for President" T-shirt).

[–]cultured_banana_slug 0 points1 point ago

I was at a 7-11 one day buying an ice cream sandwich and this woman walks in, looks at the guy behind the counter, and says, "I only shop in stores in this country!" and walked out again muttering about foreigners. She was black and the cashier was Indian. It was surreal.

[–]Wheres_The_Bacon 9 points10 points ago

Scumbag 7-Eleven - Gets what is essentially a free advert on Reddit, still complains

[–]ohsothisisreddit 51 points52 points ago

You know 7-11 clerks don't get commission, right?

[–]IsABot 2 points3 points ago

Scumbag 7-Eleven employee - Blames reddit. Doesn't realize this promo is well known already and advertised everywhere.

[–]guido32 0 points1 point ago

You know the lazy clerks didn't have to do anything right? The cups were by the Slurpee machine so people could help themselves. No interaction needed at all with the clerk. So OP is just a lazy fuck

[–]Renzyal 1 point2 points ago

Excepting the person who had to fetch the cups and clean up all the slurpee spills as well as all of the other things they have to do normally.

[–]boredcanadian 0 points1 point ago

Everything they have to do normally, ringing in 500+ extra customers, spills everywhere, loud obnoxious kids, people freaking out that their 32oz slurpee isn't free, and at the end of the day they also have to deal with people who don't know how to read signs properly and complain that their slurpee isn't free.

Free slurpee day is hell, especially when they don't hire enough people to do the shit they ask in the first place, and you end up not getting your shit done because you were dealing with screaming idiots all day.

[–]South_of_Heaven 0 points1 point ago

ITT: people whine about other people's job responsibilities...

[–]boredcanadian 0 points1 point ago

If people acted like human beings instead of large children then half this shit wouldn't be a problem.

[–]South_of_Heaven 1 point2 points ago

Trust me, I understand...I work at a shell with a western union, an attached deli, with full service ice cream and a video dept...At night after 7pm the deli closes so it is 2 people's job to serve ice cream, do western unions, run the tils, check out movies and do all the daily chores...It can be hell but it pays the bills and isn't the worst job I've worked...

I responded before I had read your post about working at a 7-11 so the comment was misplaced being in response to yours...

[–]boredcanadian 1 point2 points ago

Ah, I see. Sounds like a sort of small town thing, cramming more and more things into one gas station. I'm glad I got out before the pizza hut expansion started going in, that would have been retardedly difficult to juggle.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 1 point2 points ago

Interesting.

The place I work isn't some small town store, it's suburban, right off the highway, and the only place inside five miles which is open 24/7. It's a damn good spot to be a convenience store, unfortunately for me. We do a lot of everything because we deal with everyone, all the time. For every regular I see, I deal with two strangers (and one of them is an asshole).

The people who are in every day tend to be respectful of the store. The people who only come in once a year, for something free? Not so much.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point ago

That's actually not right at all. We had two (2), count them, two (2) signs up, one on each door, which said "Ask a cashier for a cup". I believe there was also one to that effect on the slurpee machine itself.

Point is, don't help your self to free things, shithead.

[–]guido32 0 points1 point ago

Well, shithead, not all 7-11's did the same thing, obviously. The 7-11's in WA had the cups out, so the cashiers here didn't mind the situation at all. And to say "don't help your self (sic) to free things, shithead" is moronic. It was FREE Slurpee day, so yea, people DID help themselves. Keep at it buddy. You go on with your career path!

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point ago

The cashiers at your local 7-Eleven are probably the kind of people who'll let you steal crap. We had to move the cups behind the counter because we have plenty of those lovely people who don't understand "one per customer".

And "free slurpee day" really means "you may have one of these very small promotional sized cups for free" not "all the slurpees are free"-- which means I spent a lot of time telling people to not just help themselves.

Despite living in the home of the Starbucks, you still seem foggy on how retail works. What do you do that's so successful, exactly?

[–]guido32 0 points1 point ago

You make me smile =)

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point ago

I'm serious. What do you do that makes you so smug?

I have a career path, and although I'm currently working at a 7-Eleven, you, I, and my boss all understand that I'm not spending the rest of my life there.

[–]sipoloco 10 points11 points ago

If funny that you think the miminum-wage clerk behind the counter cares if his store makes their daily budget.

[–]Groots 1 point2 points ago

7-11 pays it's clerks way more than min. wage.

[–]Felicrux 4 points5 points ago

Actually they don't. I work night shift, and only make $7.25, with $1 extra hourly for working overnight.

[–]Groots 0 points1 point ago

Damn I'm sorry. Here in Oklahoma City you make 11.25 an hour at night and 9 something during the day.

[–]Felicrux 0 points1 point ago

No worries. Could be a franchise store, but I know that corporate stays around min. wage, and only goes up based on experience in retail or 7-11 itself.

[–]boredcanadian 0 points1 point ago

Where?

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point ago

7-Eleven is a franchise. The guy who owns your local is the quintessential small business owner. I guarantee you he pays minimum wage when you start, but if you do good work, there's no reason the franchisee can't or shouldn't pay a bit more.

That doesn't mean the owner will pay you more, but that's the whole "Small Business" catch-22.

[–]Unit4 0 points1 point ago

Pretty much if they make enough that they don't have to cut back shifts, they don't care. As an added level of corporate whip-cracking, I worked in a grocer for 3 years and every year we were given fewer and fewer hours to work with in the store. I swear by the time I left we were operating at about 70% or lower, which doesn't sound like much, but it is the difference between a hard, busy day and a hard, busy, crappy day.

[–]jhowa182 1 point2 points ago

You mean burnt?

[–]ThorinRuriksson 40 points41 points ago

The promotion did exactly what it was supposed to do. I went in, took my wife with me. We got our tiny free cups and I said, "Fuck this piddly ass shit, I need a real slurpee." I got the free one AND bought a larger size. My wife got her free one, but decided whe needed to drink it through a candy straw

(For those of you counting along at home, that's two sales from people that wouldn't have otherwise gone in that day)

Upon getting to the counter, I decided that, while I was already there, I needed smokes. Got two packs.

TL;DR- Went in for a free slurpee, walked out spending nearly $20. The promotion works.

[–]digital_parts_guy 14 points15 points ago

^ This guy understands advertising!

[–]boredcanadian 1 point2 points ago

Cool, now calculate how many extra hours it took them to clean up after that shit, plus the people who walk in, get a slurpee, and walk out (give you a hint: it's most of them) and not even the right size.

[–]ThorinRuriksson 2 points3 points ago

I seriously doubt any extra hours were spent on clean up, or if any then very few. What you got was employees, who would have been there anyhow, doing a bit more work instead of waiting for customers to come in. I would compare it to pizza joints on midweek nights versus Halloween (one of the biggest order nights of the year). When I managed at Domino's, I saw this phenomenon at work. Slow nights you sit around and collect a paycheck. Fast nights you get the same pay, are there the same hours, but you do more work.

I'm sorry people had to work harder for their pay for a single day this year.

In the end, as a corporate entity, you know this sort of thing is carefully calculated. I assure you, there were profits above the usual. At the least they broke even. No one lost money on this, or they wouldn't keep doing it year after year. Even franchises failed to loose money as a result of corporate franchise laws which prohibit corporations from enforcing promotions which might hurt a franchise. For an example of this, see the big legal battle a year or two back between Burger King and their franchises over their version of the Dollar Cheeseburger (which was costing $1.10 on average to produce and sell).

TL;DR- Promotions often make the individual employee work for a living, but they are overall good for the business.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point ago

That's pretty much wrong, sorry to say.

'Free Slurpee Day' puts an enormous amount of stress on the store without many real benefits. We sold more lottery than usual, but that has nothing to do with the people who got slurpees.

I spent most of the day stuck dealing with the idiot children who wanted free things-- cleaning up after five hundred people is no joke-- which meant that I had VERY little time to do usual store maintenance. Y'know, stock the cooler, do my orders, change all the slurpee bibs (twice), etc.

Moreover, as a corporate entity, promotions are great. At the franchise end, we don't even usually participate. This year, we were giving away free slurpees in order to use up a couple of bibs of the new (and awful) flavors-- which the owner is forced to buy when they come out-- so that we could then get the flavors people will buy back in stock.

[–]ThorinRuriksson 0 points1 point ago

Must be the difference in area, or in the franchise owners policies.

[–]boredcanadian 0 points1 point ago

I used to work at one of these shitholes. There is no "waiting", you're always doing something. Cleaning, stocking, etc. You come in, check your duty list, and you quite often don't have enough time to get your regular stuff done, let alone extra shit. There are no "sitting around collecting a paycheck" unless you're not doing your job. You are never without your next task.

And here's the thing, at domino's, you might send your employees home when their 8 hours are done. At 7-11, you stay until your shit is done or you get in shit. I was often there 12 and 13 hours because they kept piling more tasks on me, and refusing to hire anyone else or put anyone else on the shift.

You really can't compare a restaurant to a chain convenience store for this kind of thing, there's so much extra crap going on that doesn't always apply to restaurants.

I would have loved to have worked at a dominos, but in the small town I lived in, as they put it "The men go to the mills, so we hire women. Whenever we hire men, they always leave right after training because the mills hired them, but women almost never leave, so we hire them instead." But the mills wanted people with mill experience, so I was stuck at 7-11. Then the mills started hiring all the women, who quit 7-11, and the manager sent their duties my way.

TL;DR working at 7-11 is a brutally shitty job where you work unpaid overtime for minimum wage and deal with shitty people all day.

[–]ThorinRuriksson 0 points1 point ago

Perhaps it's my area that's different, or yours that is. All I know is that at the 7-11's around here, and most of the other stores of the same type, I almost without fail walk in to find the guy on shift sitting behind the counter talking on the phone, or reading a book or whatnot. That's when I don't get dirty looks for interrupting their smoke breaks (in my defense, I usually tell them to go ahead and finish, as it will take me a couple of minutes to figure out what I want).

[–]boredcanadian 0 points1 point ago

Man, I wish I had time to read books when I was there. There was one douche that decided he was allowed to hang out and ignore customers and play on his cellphone, they fired him after 2 days.

The other store I worked at, I was there to run the till, make coffee and sweep up at the end of the day. That was it, there was another guy who would come in and fill the coolers and stock the shelves, even the counts and financial stuff was done by my boss, so then I had plenty of time to read and play angry birds, but never at 7-11.

There I needed to make 170 subs/sandwiches a night, keep 12 pots of coffee full during a nonstop 6 hour solid rush, sweep, mop, empty the chicken sham, wrap the leftovers for sale, do the dishes for it, do the dishes for the sandwich stuff, wash the coffee pots, run the till when we had more than 3 people in line (Got nothing else done for 3 hours a morning), then cash out, count the cash, and count/fill the smokes and lottery.

So yeah, I'm not sure how they can find the time to be standing around or anything, I sure couldn't.

[–]ThorinRuriksson 0 points1 point ago

Probably just a difference in are, or how the franchise owner chooses to run things.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point ago

Are you coming in to the 7-Eleven at 3:00 AM? That's pretty much the only time I have to sit around and read.

Basically, if you don't do the basic work (and it honestly isn't hard, just time-consuming) you will be fired and replaced.

[–]ThorinRuriksson 0 points1 point ago

No, middle of the day, often on the way home from work.

[–]drueka 16 points17 points ago

I was going to get a slurpee today because it's right next to work and it's hot as fuck. then I remembered what day it is. So I didn't go. You're welcome

[–]Ottergame 8 points9 points ago

Ha ha! Jokes on you! I live in Oklahoma, and the 7-11s here don't HAVE Slurpees.

[–]d_r0ck 36 points37 points ago

As if I needed another reason to not visit OK.

[–]Ottergame 10 points11 points ago

You really should live here for a short time. You'll gain a whole new appreciation for where you live now.

[–]_liminal 4 points5 points ago

Don't have slurpees? What kind of barbaric place is this?

[–]Zepp777 1 point2 points ago

They don't? I'm in Tulsa..we don't even have fucking 7/11's

[–]Therianthrope 1 point2 points ago

I have never run across a 7-11 in Wisconsin or Minnesota either... but we have Holiday which is vastly superior.

[–]SteveRestless 1 point2 points ago

... what. You're holding up holiday as superior? wat.

[–]rokkitgurl 1 point2 points ago

Holiday certainly is not.. Have you been so some of the ones in NW Minnesota?? Nasty meth cunts are in there all damn day...

[–]Therianthrope 0 points1 point ago

Yes. They allow pay inside after pumping, their prices are competitive, their coffee is pretty okay, and the microwaveable sandwiches they have as 2 for 2.22$ are actually pretty good. Oh, and they're generally clean and well stocked. The last 7-11 I went to was filthy, overpriced, and lacking in most of what I was looking for.

[–]SteveRestless 0 points1 point ago

I dont know what part of the state you're in, but all of the holidays I've been to were crap. Up here in the fox valley, I'd say "no 7/11s, but atleast we have Kwik Trip."

And I can't recall the last time I saw a gas station in wisconsin that DIDN'T let you pay inside after pumping

[–]Therianthrope 0 points1 point ago

Okay so, you live about 300 miles southeast of me, according to Google maps. I've never actually been to a Kwik Trip, so I have no idea what they're like. If they're anything like Kwik Stop though, I dislike them thoroughly. Where I live we basically only have BP and Holiday. BP stations up here have had problems with water in their gas, and are typically more expensive, so I prefer Holiday. For reference, the only 7-11s I've ever been to were in Chicago, and they were pretty horrible. Sunoco and Hess are hardly any better. I know they're eastern US but for comparison's sake I'm mentioning them. The closest to Holiday in service and convenience I think I've come across as a chain would be Love's but I'm not sure if we're counting chain truck stops.

I acknowledge that there are some horrible Holiday stations (I worked at one for a year) but that is due to their management setup. The Holiday corporately owned stores are all very well organized, clean, and well stocked. The sometimes bad ones are the privately owned stores that carry the Holiday name, but not it's standards. (Experience: Worked for Holiday for a year, and have also visited approximately 30 different stations stretching from the U.P. down to lower Minnesota)

TLDR: No idea what Kwik Trip is like, but the corporately owned Holiday stores are consistently the best gas stations I have stopped at. Love's comes in a close second if truck stops are also considered.

[–]Dingfod 1 point2 points ago

But we have QuikTrip, which is way more gooder.

[–]Zepp777 0 points1 point ago

...meh

[–]powernut 1 point2 points ago

Dude, check out their killer roller grille selection. They have like a dozen sauces, too.

[–]7fw 0 points1 point ago

Honk and Holler?

[–]StrangerinthaAlps 0 points1 point ago

Isn't that just a regular store then?

[–]trueblueskies 2 points3 points ago

They just sell condoms, gum, and italian handbags.

[–]davidreavis 0 points1 point ago

Where the hell in oklahoma are you at? I have lived here my entire life and have never seen a slurpeeless 7-11...

[–]jungl3j1m 0 points1 point ago

In Oklahoma, they have Kum-n-Go stores.

[–]stevencastle 0 points1 point ago

Can you buy porn there?

[–]Ottergame 0 points1 point ago

No, we have 7-11s, they are just owned by a family, not corporate like the rest of them in the country. Instead of Slurpees, we have Icy Drinks.

[–]growlingbear 0 points1 point ago

I live in TN. We don't have 7-11.

[–]spdracr99 0 points1 point ago

that's horrible, what a tease

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point ago

I'm sorry to inform you, sir, that the joke is apparently not on me.

I would recommend that you use all due and undue processes to acquire slurpees in the great state of Oklamoma-- a state, which due to various, obvious climate change phenomena-- is due for a sharp dip, then a sharp rise, in insurance payments at your end.

[–]Osgood 7 points8 points ago

That's the international response of the retail worker.

[–]sonataink 70 points71 points ago

To be fair, you were paid to spend all day working at a 7-Eleven..

[–]FishBonePendant 10 points11 points ago

I'll give you 5 bucks to get raped by fifty mutant cats with spike covered penises.

I'm paying you, so you shouldn't complain.

[–]erishun 6 points7 points ago

Yeah, but just like working at 7-11... you could say "no". And I worked fast food and at a QuikChek. Yeah, it's sucks. That's why they call "work" and not "super fun funtime".

[–]growlingbear 4 points5 points ago

super happy funtime
There was Super Happy Funtime, why didn't anyone tell me?

[–]erishun 4 points5 points ago

Haha, that's what I don't get. "OMG, my job sucks. I don't like to work". Yeah, some people love their jobs, but not everybody. If everybody liked working, you wouldn't get paid to do it. Suck it up and deal with it.

Be happy you have a job in this terrible economy. Some people aren't so lucky.

[–]showstopping 6 points7 points ago

Its payback for every 7-11 having two cashiers. "one to ring you up with a large line, and another doing nothing who's job is to say 'he will take you in this line'."

[–]boredcanadian 2 points3 points ago

Ever work there? 95% the time, when you beller "I can help someone at this till" they look at you the same way a cow looks at you when it's chewing cud, then stay in the long line. Eventually, you just stop caring.

[–]OIP 9 points10 points ago

do you have it any of the small cups? where are the lids

also do you take card?

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 7 points8 points ago

No, no, and yes, but we keep them.

[–]TheQueefGoblin 2 points3 points ago

do you have it any of the small cups?

no

where are the lids

no

also do you take card?

yes, but we keep them.

wat.

[–]realfuzzhead 0 points1 point ago

dubble wat on the first question.

[–]Deejaymil 2 points3 points ago

Work at a maccas on a Friday night. WE CAN SHARE OUR PAIN.
I'm sure there are intelligent, thoughtful people in the world. SO WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY?

[–]turkeylaser 2 points3 points ago

Your English is superb.

[–]PVTCaboose1337 2 points3 points ago

I went multiple times, and even brought my grandparents for one run after dinner. In total I think I made off with 20+ Slurpees.

[–]dabernathy89 15 points16 points ago

should have given us the big cups free.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 30 points31 points ago

Fuck that, you shouldn't have tossed all those lids on the ground.

Besides, the flavored, shaved ice is cheap-- you should just be willing to buy the damn thing if you want one.

[–]myeyesaresotired 3 points4 points ago

A small handwritten sign explaining that the small Slurpee lids won't fit on the free 7.11oz cups even if they look like they will would've done wonders.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 9 points10 points ago

We used a large handwritten sign. Three of them. No good.

[–]zigzagofdoom 3 points4 points ago

Fellow 7-11 employee here. All I can say is fuck red slurpee.

[–]pseudalithia 4 points5 points ago

Allll those slurpies...

[–]gbajk 3 points4 points ago

Well, at lest Randal Graves would be proud of you.

[–]khedoros 4 points5 points ago

Heh. If it makes you feel better, I didn't get a slurpie.

[–]Parkmayn 0 points1 point ago

Me neither! You OP should be bowing down to us.

[–]WolfRamHart 1 point2 points ago

So why don't they ever seem to have grape slurpees anymore? They had them all the time when I was younger.

[–]KingkaiMaui 0 points1 point ago

I worked at 7-Eleven also yesterday. Oh, but it was night shift. Be Jelly.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 2 points3 points ago

Night shift isn't bad. Usually it's pretty quiet once the drunks filter out.

[–]KingkaiMaui 0 points1 point ago

all I had to do was clean up after Swing, lol.

[–]hoppingturkey 1 point2 points ago

I, too, work at a 7-11. It is a damned annoying job sometimes.

Makes you want to track down where your customers work and fuck everything up there so they have to clean it up.

[–]seeswhatyoudidthar 4 points5 points ago

Sorry for making you do what you're paid to do.

[–]boredcanadian -1 points0 points ago

Manager:"Hey, you didn't finish your shit, you're gonna stay here until you're done"

Employee:"...But I get paid right?"

Manager: laughing so hard they pee a little "Oh god no, of coarse not."

So yeah, no.

[–]thepineapplearmy 2 points3 points ago

Shut up and do your job.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 5 points6 points ago

Buddy, my job is usually stopping you dumbfucks from leaving with free things. If you want something, goddamn buy it.

[–]atl2rva 2 points3 points ago

well if we bought it they wouldn't be free things...

[–]hyperstellardreams 0 points1 point ago

Buddy, it was free slurpee day, if it wasn't, people would just buy them.

[–]WTS_BRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point ago

You are incredibly wrong.

[–]hyperstellardreams 0 points1 point ago

So it wasn't free slurpee day. And on every other day people don't buy slurpees. Is that what you're saying?

[–]thepineapplearmy -1 points0 points ago

don't work for a company that has had 'free slurpee day' for as long as I can remember then. bitch all you want but i feel like you could have seen this one coming. Also, I payed for my slurpee yesterday because fuck your small lidless cups. Dick.

[–]Renzyal 0 points1 point ago

Hey they already had one in may to celebrate 7-11's birthday there is no need for two free slurpee days in a year.

[–]thepineapplearmy 0 points1 point ago

i want to accept your logic but your logic is that there should be less free slurpees than more free slurpees and i simply cannot accept this

[–]bigroblee -2 points-1 points ago

You are a bit of a whining twat aren't you? Tell you what, you know the date now, put in for 7/11 for the coming years off as it seems with your attitude this place is probably about the peak of the corporate ladder for you, and be happy.

[–]russiangn 2 points3 points ago

Why didn't you just leave out a bunch of cups and write "Free Slurpies: This Size Only"

[–]spdracr99 2 points3 points ago

that's exactly what the sign said.

[–]russiangn 0 points1 point ago

Then why was it so tough? lol

[–]Renzyal 2 points3 points ago

Because people can't make slurpees without spilling it everywhere.

[–]russiangn 0 points1 point ago

That actually makes a lot of sense. Good point

[–]WaffleSports -4 points-3 points ago

Sorry you had a tough one day at work.

[–]2dollarb 2 points3 points ago

Right back atcha!

I wish I lived near ya; employees with shit attitudes are my favorite marks.

Jokes on you, there isn't any 7-elevens here!

[–]UnorthodoxGentleman 0 points1 point ago

7-Elevens in Asia (well at least Taiwan and Japan) are fucking awesome. And everywhere too. There are literally adjacent blocks each with their own.

[–]Jnnlopez 0 points1 point ago

I waited until the late eventing and then we went and bought bigger slurpees. Fuck that tiny cup!

[–]Tylerdurdon 0 points1 point ago

It's made you a church of slack convert?

[–]leophir 0 points1 point ago

We don't have 7-11 in Europe. My only experience with the franchise was in Taipei and it looks cool.

[–]bioshrapnel 0 points1 point ago

Maybe you can answer an honest question then.

Why do so many Indians work at 7-11?

[–]Proto_tw 0 points1 point ago

[–]DafuqBrah 0 points1 point ago

[–]Carnae_Assada -2 points-1 points ago

[–]6times9is42 0 points1 point ago

What am I missing here?

[–]raymurda 2 points3 points ago

July 11 is free Slurpee day.

[–]6times9is42 0 points1 point ago

Oh ok. Thanks. Why today though? Was this the day Ben franklin invented the slurpee?

[–]StrangerinthaAlps 1 point2 points ago

The date, 7-11

[–]6times9is42 7 points8 points ago

Oh. Silly Americans. It's 11/7. You're doing this 4 months too soon!

[–]7fw 3 points4 points ago

As an American, I love this post.

[–]growlingbear 0 points1 point ago

[–]dietotaku 0 points1 point ago

[–]happikoto 0 points1 point ago

So glad I work overnights at 7/11.

[–]UnquietRiot -4 points-3 points ago

Ah, boo hoo you poor mother fucker. You think your job's tough? Chance's are you don't have it as bad as you think you do.

[–]ch33sencrackers -4 points-3 points ago

People who work in retail need to stop pretending like their jobs are taxing in any way, shape, or form. You have to deal with people. People are stupid. Now you know this. Now you can move on.

[–]ayePALINDROMEeye -2 points-1 points ago

He's typed this from India.

[–]OneWhoHenpecksGiants -1 points0 points ago

I kind of knew it would be this before I clicked (tapped, whatever). I thought "Man if I worked at a 7-11 all day, all I'd have for reddit would be a fing...oh I was right". TIL I am very unoriginal.

[–]Punkgoblin -1 points0 points ago
