This has been asked way too many times in MHA. The bottom line is; this is photography hair, meaning hair that won't last past 10 minutes of any activity. Unless you use a metric ton of hair spray, and boby pins.

it isn't as hard as a lot of people are making it to be, but it will be time consuming to do. you don't need to not wash it for days on end, but you can as it will be easier. i'd suggest investing in a nice blow drier, and when you get out of the shower to use it while combing to dry your hair. this sets a foundation and is by no means all there is to it. once you got the foundation going you can use any past or cream product you have and go to town on it till you get it looking right. after that hair spray and bobby pins will help you out a lot.
