Really? I'm being a dickmongler? The very first thing under the don't category of reddiquette is "Don't complain about reposts" and yet every time I go to the comments of something in this subreddit, it's filled with droves of people bitching endlessly about how they've seen it before.

Is it so hard to imagine that there are other people out there who haven't seen something, even if you've seen it numerous times? I'm on reddit nearly every single day, and I've never in my life seen this GIF.

Furthermore, why do people care? You've seen it before, good for you. Lots of people haven't. If you don't like it, just downvote it. If reposts are really as egregious as you'd have us all believe then it would be buried under the flurry of downvotes, and the problem would be solved.
