                                  And some people that read/watched Battle Royale first talk about how THG is like BR. In fact, I see BR mentioned every time I see THG mentioned on the internet.

                                  Does it really matter? They're similar. Some people like one more than the other. It's a topic of discussion. If they were comparing the two as if BR copied THG, then you have a point, but otherwise I don't see what the big deal is. It's a natural thing to do.
