Adults do the same. My favorite is when they say that it is too much work to look into it so they just don't vote. They usually wish that someone would just tell them what they should know and tell them who to vote for. I think they are missing the point of voting.

When do I hear that? Literally every day of high school, if a teacher would bring up some form of current event, its as if a signal went off in most of the kids brains, and they just, stopped caring. This may seem very specific but if you deal with kids everyday, it's quite easy to hear. And yes, I wholeheartedly agree with you, if anything, they're just playing into the hands of politicians that are making voting a challenge. Buuut, this is r/funny, so i probably shouldn't of said any of that....ah...
