        EDIT: Really pleased this took off like it did. I've actually posted this catch a few times here, but it never got traction.

        Context: this was against ECU, last game of the 2011 season. Both teams were one win away from a (very minor) bowl berth. I came last minute, and the best seats I could get were almost on this endzone. We won in overtime.

        I grew up going to the Moss/Pennington games, but I was young enough that I don't have highlights stored away in my head. This Aaron Dobson catch, though, I'll probably always remember. To be fair, I really didn't understand what happened as he did it. I just saw him leap up and contort weirdly, then the ref called a touchdown.

            Beamer really seems incapable of taking the program to the elite level.

            When he's gone, you'll be begging for the days when he was here. Very few people in the country can do what he has done, built a program out of nothing.

            There are very few elite programs that play a schedule as soft as ours, though.

            LSU have won at least 8 games every year since 2000, and I think that is more impressive given the schedule that they face every year.

                the great part was that after Hagerup botched the punt, Hoke didn't yell at him nor did any of the other coaches. The cameras showed Hoke sitting him down at the bench and talking to him. Many recruits mentioned that the following week when recruiting sites asked them about how they liked the coaches at Michigan.

                  I didn't have a bad experience with BSU fans after the 2006 Fiesta Bowl. Before the game they were just happy to be in a BCS bowl and after they beat us there was very little shit talking.
