  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

This is an akhal-teke horse, famous for its almost metallic coat. The image OP posted is enhanced, however, here is the original, I believe. It is still a lovely looking horse without photoshop.

To be honest, I hear there are lots of problems with the breed-- and I'm more into gaited horses these days, like Paso Finos. But Akhal-Tekes are just so pretty!

Oh how our view of beauty has changed. Now to be considered beautiful horses must be skinny to the point of being unhealthy. Before, beauty looked like this:. We really need to consider whether we are holding our young horses up to too high of a standard.

Not to rain on everyone's parade, as the horse is good looking, but the pose the horse is offering is terrible. The line dropping from the shoulder going to the ankle should be nearly vertical. the girl holding the horse should never let it stand with such poor conformation, especially as people are looking at it and phtographing it. Poor form.
