I had to do this on my second deployment to Iraq. It was 130 degrees and I had been going commando (no pun intended) when my balls began to hurt severely; enough that I went to the Level II treatment facility to get seen. The doc said my balls caused strain on the tubes that connect them to my body. Boxer briefs... Important shit.

Boxer briefs offer far superior comfort for fat thighs. No more chaffing. When I wore boxers a day of walking around NYC on a hot day would just about peel the skin off my inner thighs. By the end of the day I'd be walking bow-legged just to escape the pain.

Really? I found I have this problem so much more with boxers, as they just mean the balls stick to the legs and there's no separation that the boxerbriefs provide. Boxers are too baggy, they ride up, they wedgie of their own accord...

Boxerbriefs stay put, they hold your tackle where it should be held, they prevent ball-to-leg stickage, they're easier to scratch your nuts through should you have to, they don't ride up... the women love them more... they look tidier... they feel nicer...

meh I tried them. They're ok but I don't really like the material and prefer boxers. I work in an office and sit at a desk all day. I appreciate the room and any chance of additional ventilation provided by boxers. Also if you have a bit of a gut(raises hand) boxer briefs look shitty.

Wearing boxers as shorts around the house when its hot is one thing. Wearing them everyday as underwear would drive me nuts. Things flopping out when they shouldn't be, legs riding up to pinch your sack. Ugly, evil creations. Now boxer-briefs on the other hand are much more hospitable, but I still don't feel the need to to go beyond simple briefs. Nut-huggers that they are they are familiar and you can still get Underoos as an adult.
