One would hope you're not a cop then, at least these five lost their jobs. Since we're playing the what if game, what if the person ejected from the vehicle was a hostage? You can see in the slow-mo replay that the guy was ejected from the driver's side window, but that doesn't mean anything at all.

It's in Birmingham Alabama, the guy knocked down a police officer earlier in the video, the officers involved in beating the unconscious man were fired.

Yea, but it's a common technique of rationalization. A colleague of mine once commented, after learning about a guy in jail that had hanged himself without the guards or staff doing anything except call for an ambulance (they didn't try to help, they let him hang) that "well, maybe he was a pedophile".

So the guards are then off the hook. We don't need to investigate, he could have been a pedophile.

Or, like, you know, the guards were complete fucking assholes and needed to lose their fucking jobs.
