I actually think that's an extremely bad idea...

The time it takes to toast the outside doesn't give the bread ample time to cook throughout, leaving you with cold "toast" within seconds of slicing it. You can barely call it toast as well, more like bread with crisp facings.

Another problem: It toasts on both sides, so if you want two slices, you just toasted 2.5 slices. If you leave that last slice still on the loaf toasted, it's going to be nasty the next day.

Ah, well. I guess I'd just have to use it to stab my enemies while making awesome lightsaber sounds. The toast thing would have been a bonus, though.
