When I was in daycare during the summertime during like 1st or 2nd grade, I pulled one of these. 2 firetrucks came and hundreds (well seemed like it, idk how many really) of kids standing out in the field for what felt like 2 hours. They then questioned us all when they found out there was no fire. We had to stand out there till someone finally said who did it. I finally started crying with guilt, and told them I was the one who did it. When they asked why, I shit you not, I lied and said I thought candy would come out. They called my parents and I cried some more and they said they were going to bill us for the firetrucks, but never did.

I don't know why I had to share that story.

I got in trouble this year for doing that. I went around and posted that on every fire alarm at my school, including the ones in the office, and one of the special-ed. kids pulled on it actually thinking he was going to get candy out of it. I was under in school suspension for three days. Completely worth it.

Oh man. At school when we were around 14, we used to get done with registration pretty quickly and all stand by the door waiting for the first bell. There was a fire alarm next to the door and every fucking day somebody would say to the whole class, without fail, 'Press the button for a sweety'. Every. single. fucking. day. Someone actually lifted the flap on the front at some point and placed a sweet inside.
