Least favorite Chrome for iPad feature: not exactly the most elegant way to navigate bookmarks (i.imgur.com)

These are my bookmark bar links...which is why they are all short to fit as many as possible. Isn't there room on iPad for a bar or at least something more elegant? Maybe it's just me but this doesn't seem like a step forward from the bookmark menu of Safari or the bar in iCab Mobile.

Love the app otherwise...bookmark sync was my biggest excitement and it's weird ಠ_ಠ

Yeah I was pretty disappointed with that too. Hey me and you do the same thing with our book marks, no more than 3 characters, rely solely on the favicon. I'm always grumpy if I want to add a site that doesn't have a favicon, it's enough the drop it from the list.

I spent literally MINUTES looking for a toggle to turn on the bookmarks bar. No such luck. That and I can't make Chrome the default make me a sad panda and make Chrome quite a bit less useful than I expected.

Add this bookmarklet to safari and you can switch with a click

Same problem here. Hoping that this will be fixed in future versions. Let Google know by sending your feedback by going to Settings -> Report an issue.

i love everything about the chrome app but this. the only thing safari did right was the bookmarks bar.

a lot of those change to the websites symbol as you goto them.
