Why we have such a society that every person has to be a slave for about 50 years just to be able to survive? This is wrong! We are much more efficient in producing good than 1000 years ago but, because of some strange reason, we still need to spend vast majority of our own time to produce goods for each other. Look, we live only 2 days per week, the rest we work! WTF? Why?

You're new to the real world, aren't you?

No, I am not. But I still refuse to accept these rules... Actually the question that I asked above were not rhetoric questions. They are not "just complaints". I really want to know the answers on my questions. Why we still need to spend almost all out time on producing goods for us. We can produce good so much efficient than 1000 years ago but we still need to work the whole day to produce goods for our self.

What increased efficiency past are you talking about? When people owned their own niche business (Farmer, carpenter, fisherman, shoemaker, etc.)? Or something else? We are more efficient these days, but there's also waaaaay more people on the planet these days too. The sheer volume of people complicates things so people work in various non-niche capacities. Fast food, cubicle people, etc. I'm not exactly sure what exactly you're talking about because you're being very vague, but hopefully this was an answer to your conundrum.

What increased efficiency? Earlier people needed to work on farms with hands, then they used horses now tractors and different machines. We can produce food much more efficient (easier) than before. The same with buildings (we can build them faster and easier). This is the case for everything. We have robots! But still everybody need to work a lot. Why?

Second, I do not think that overpopulation is relevant here. I am living in a developed country and I do not think that I need to work a lot because I (or my country) needs to support developing country with overpopulation.

Third, the more people we have, the more we consume (our are correct here). But the more people we have, the more working power we have! So, I think that overpopulation is irrelevant here.

We are more efficient now, yes. But we support a larger population and people abroad. We have large companies requiring large manpower to run them. People need to support themselves, too. How can they do that if they aren't working 5 days out of the week? It's a matter of balancing labor and money. The more you work, the more money you earn. Sure, we're more efficient now, but we are also supporting a larger population than "1000 years ago."

You said it yourself, the more people we have, the more WORKING power we have. People gotta work to keep themselves alive...

The more people we have, the more working power we have, the less we need to work (the more people work, the less every person needs to do).
