Haha I did switch to reddit on my phone once the hatchet started to fall!

The reasons vary (ineptitude, bad attitude, works from home without authorization and too low billable hours), but the real reason is money. Two associates, a long time paralegal, legal assistant and a long time accounting person. That's a good amount of savings on payroll.

Sigh. The people who really do the work will just take on more, as they always do.

I use to love it twice a year when people got fired where I worked at. I would always tell the person 6 weeks in advance they were getting fired before HR found out about them. Everyone use to think I was full of shit about how many people actually got fired but I had a friend that worked int he office that would txt me the # each time and I had to guess who they were. Out of about 35 people, I think I only guessed 6 wrong or they were wrong because I didn't guess.
