I agree, I don't like when people do something nice and expect back instant gratification for their "good deed" or kindness. I believe that if someone is going to do something good like a real GGG they should do it without expectations. I have a crappy cousin who always tries to be "the good guy" but then holds his actions over people's heads for example

my cousin: here is 50 bucks for no reason I know you need the extra cash

Exactly, I hate those kind of people. They whine and moan about how they are such nice people and the world is so cruel to them when in reality they act on selfish reasons because they think the world will owe them something in return. Especially all the "she goes for douchebags" stories on reddit really get to me, these guys might just be really decent dudes who play their cards right, but no, because they dont do "nice guy" acts and expect something in return they are assholes.
