I particularly enjoy the oxygen mask's introduction of ambiguity into the piece. Is he a recovering smoker, perhaps, or is he simply too fat for his lungs to support? The artist leaves it up to the audience, and I appreciate that.

That machine gun is a disgrace. Was it too hard to find a picture of an M240, M249, or M2HB to copy off of? I mean, what is that rod above the barrel supposed to be, an atrophied gas tube? A vestigial handguard mount? Some kind of erstwhile sling rail?

And what, exactly, is this fine figure of a patriot supposed to be using to fire? There are no triggers on those spade handles! I see no evidence of a rear butterfly trigger either. I could buy WWI tank-style trigger pedals, but not with both feet off the floor. And what is that thing ejecting? MOTHERFUCKING NERF DARTS?!

Seriously, there was an opportunity to really nail this comic but the lackadaisical approach to gun illustration has utterly and completely destroyed any artistic or editorial impact this comic could ever have had.

Also, why is there not a tailgating grill attached to the back of the Rascal? It's like the artist wasn't even trying. Pathetic!
