I actually used to try eating leaves that looked like tree stars when I was a kid, because the show made them seem so delicious. And I always wanted pizza just like the ones on TMNT. So melty and delicious...

Carrots are fucking amazing. I used to complain about them when I was a kid but now I've realized it was pure luxury to disregard nutrition. When you're on a small budget, eating veggies, particularly carrots and broccoli and the like, is imperative to staying alive and having good health.

She was in the last Jaws movie, too. It was sad enough that she was one of those iconic voices of my childhood, but then having seen her acting in a film...Totally lost it.

The voice actress for Duckie was shot in her sleep by her dad, who then shot his wife when she came to the room. He then burned the bodies and shot himself in the garage. She was 10. :(

Wow I just made up a random number but I'm actually not that far off. There are actually thirteen Land Before Time movies now.

Almost all of them are direct-to-video and pretty terrible. Remember the Sharptooth in the first one that was evil and terrifying? Well, in one of these other movies they become friends with one.

I thought a tree star was a certain type of leaf versus just a word for general vegetation. lol. EDIT. Looking back at it, I think it's the characters' use of both terms "Tree Stars" and "Green Food" as if they were somehow different.
