Wrong. upvoteddogs was perfectly correct when he put a comma because "if it's in any game" is an introductory dependent clause that warrants a comma. You, however, put an unnecessary comma. It should either be "awesome, relevant link" or "awesome and relevant link."

Not really arguing with you, since in this case a list of two descriptors would almost never have a comma preceding the conjunction, but I do want to point out that correct comma usage is one of the most dubious conventions grammar nazis will argue. A comma usage like this one is actually fairly likely to turn up in a novel by Jane Austen or an essay by Thomas Hobbes (two rather formal but rather antiquated authors). Conversely, you might feel that there's a paucity of commas in the sentences of Marilynne Robinson, a rather formal but modern essayist and novelist. Virginia Woolf can fall anywhere in between.

If you think of KIRBYBURNS' usage as a really Oxfordy Oxford comma, it makes sense in the way Hobbes' and Austen's commas do, albeit with lesser complexity to the sentence structure.

I was a fairly regular GOW player and was pretty good (around a 2.4 k/d 3.7 W/L ranked TDM add .5 to each for quick match) When I played with friends I would typically get the most kills and (obviously) win most games. I started playing again recently and I can tell for certain that my skill dropped. I've also noticed that when we get the high ground my team tends to leave me for no reason. When I play GOW I don't blame my team for sucking or the other team for being garbage and my team sucking. I blame my team for not staying on the high ground and running off like a bunch of children pissing their pants at the sight of a shotgun

TL;DR: I understand the lack of skill that I now have, I understand that there will be people better than me. My team leaves the strong point on the map when it's beneficial and a better idea to keep it.

Well. What I've noticed for matchmaking in Halo: Reach is that, on average, the people I'm matched with are at my skill level.

But this is a problem when you're playing anything with teams. In a 8-person match, 3 or 4 people will be worse than me and 3 or 4 should be better. What seems to happen quite often is that the 4 people who are better wind up on the other team, and the 3 who are worse wind up with me.

So, in team slayer (basically deathmatch if you're not familiar), playing to 50, we will lose 50-to-30, and 29 of my teams' kills were made by me. Unfortunately this result is quite likely, statistically. I wish Microsoft would implement team rebalancing of some kind.

Team balancing would be great. I played last night in a rocket hog race and my two team mates quit before the game even started so I was just fucked. And skill level too I've been on teams where I get like 25-30 kills in slayer and the rest of my team gets like 7.

The problem with Reach is that Bungie put TruSkill behind fast matchmaking times, so you can essentially be matched up with anyone. I've been matched up with a guy on his very first game of reach, and I've played thousands of games. As a relatively competent halo player, it is very frustrating

Matches tend to be shorter as you get in to better matchmaking groups. Even the most even ones won't survive past the 30 minute mark.

Yeah, as long as the teams are well matched.

They're having serious problems with matchmaking, though.

It IS free to play, though, so the investment is minimal. Download it, play it. If you hate it, uninstall. It's not really pay to win at all (you can buy credit boosts to buy equipment faster, but it's not really that gamebreaking).

My advice: first thing you buy should be the product Money Magnet.

One of the things I've found is that random shooting in TF2 can be valuable. For example, if I'm a sniper and there's a corner that the enemy has to come around, I like to put keep shooting at the corner for 2 reasons: 1) they'll be scared to come around the corner and 2) you actually do get lucky randomly firing at head height where you know people will have to come at some point.

    You shut your whore mouth. Obviously the amount of times you've prestiged is clear evidence of skill. Not just anybody can play a game for days on end, whoring xp, and prestige 15 times. That takes raw talent.
