Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports). "Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

"Generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission.

I played this and Silent Hill 2 when i would visit my dad for summer breaks during school. I blocked all sunlight coming into the room and would scare the shit out of myself.

these games are still creepy as, I have 1 and 2 and they still blow me away, they are truely a great example of the horror genre in gaming.

I was actually in maybe 11th grade when I played this, so I was around 16. I'm a very nervous person when it comes to scary things so i spent the entire game and its hard mode fidgeting to the end. The first time the screen turned black and white on me, I thought i was reliving a memory and while I started the sequence fine, I finished it with about 20 pounds of bricks in my pants.

Played (and eventually finished) this in college while a buddy of mine watched me play. Had multiple WTF moments where both of freaked out and screamed like girls and promptly had to stop playing and turn off the system.

Took some time to coax each other to muster up the courage again to start-up the game after each time.

Haven't touched the game since. Kind of want to start it up again for old times sake.

Hell yeah, the ambient sounds in these games was incredible. I wish RE hadn't gone the route of "Giant Pile of Ass Kicking" and had decided to scare people again.

My brother and I used to pass the controller back and forth while playing the original Fatal Frame and it's sequel. Such good times. I'm 26 and he's 30(?) now. Don't think I've talked to him in four years.

But I seriously couldn't bring myself to complete this, where as I can play Amnesia easily.

The announced remake is the only reason I'll be keeping my Wii. I was about to sell my Wii to a friend for $40 and then the remake got announced.

Okay so I was going to make a sarcastic post about how you must be so old because when this game came out only a few years ago . I looked it up and it realized it's been closer to ten . What the fuck mate. I remember watching the xplay review for this .
