Have you tried finding a peaceful quiet place outside where you can chill?

There's a hidden park at a lake near where I reside. Almost no one ever goes there, so I can show up, bring a book and relax without fear of interruption.

For me, it's, "Oh I really want to go out and see all the people, I'm sure it would be extremely fun... but this Mozart that is playing from my computer, my brain feels good right now, and I want to practice my violin and doodle or read...."

I really, really love people (depending on the type of event/location) but I also get a massive kick out of how my brain feels after 2 cups of coffee and music and such really keeps me from leaving the house. I am really easily stimulated from quiet activities.
