Maybe you thought you were going to do bad before actually looking at the test, but thinking you were going to fail AFTER completing the test is very unlikely. That would mean you would have guessed many if not most of the questions. Or you just are not confident and thought you were going to fail even after being able to solve most of the problems on the test.
