Because an actor or actress's popularity/visibility often takes precedence over their acting ability when being considered for roles.

Also, I'm not saying she's ugly, but...she's definitely not in the top 15 hottest actresses. That's beyond a stretch, sorry.

Here goes Reddit's infinite denial, wherein anyone who starred in the Twilight series can't be pretty. It's hard to imagine how an entire community can be immature enough to agree that Kristen Stewart isn't pretty. Is it a joke or something? She's a very good looking girl!
