First you need to learn how to go crosseyed. You're focusing on a point between your eyes. Easiest way to try that is look at your index finger or a pencil and slowly move it towards your face and to the bridge of your nose. You'll feel which muscles work and eventually with enough practice you'll be able to move your eyes like so without having to follow an object.

Once you've mastered that, you then try to look left and right whilst maintaining one crossed eye. After that, try look up and down whilst you look left and right and maintain the crossed eye.

It's my favourite trick for creeping people out. Few people can do it. And to find Emma Stone can makes me have an even bigger geek crush on her.
