Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports).

"Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

Posting Rules

  • Posts must be directly gaming-related. Thus, "generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission; similarly, reaction GIFs are also not appropriate as submissions.

  • Following Reddiquette is encouraged

  • No "general" URL shorteners (bitly, tinyurl, etc). Single-site URL shorteners (such as youtu.be or fav.me) are allowed.

  • No game or product giveaway of any kind

  • NSFW submissions and comments must be labeled

  • Spoilers can be posted using the following formatting:
    [X Kills Y](/spoiler)
    Result: X Kills Y.

  • To mark a spoiler as relevant to a specific game/topic, use the alternate formatting:
    [Player 1 wins](/spoiler "Pong")
    Result:
    Player 1 wins

  • Report posts containing spoilers not using the above method

  • Don't post users' personal information.

I dont think I have ever had a problem looking for the X button. It is pretty easy to find...

Luckily for me, I only got an Xbox! :) Of course, it still does not help when you start playing BF3 after years of COD: I always end up crouching when I want to knife somebody!!!

Usually, the scenario goes something like this:

  • run 10 minutes across the map to flank the enemy
  • approach the unsuspecting victim from behind
  • press RS stick to knife
  • wonder for a second why you are suddenly staring at the guys butt
  • panic and press repeatedly RS to stab, stab, stab
  • end up popping up and down
  • remember that you are playing BF3
  • panic and press LB and RB
  • end up with a grenade blowing up in your face because you can't for the life of you figure out how to stand up and you start crawling away, hoping that it is a smoke grenade that you just tossed.

NO LUCK.

Repeat the process.

The A<>B and X<>Y switch in the original Xbox sent me into such a rage. Fuck you for trying to destroy years and years of muscle memory. Still press the wrong button every single time I try to play one.

I like how the X location on the controller corresponds to where the controller image was posted. Pretty cool. To the point of the image I never really had this problem unless I forget which controller I'm using..... which happens often >_>.
