It's actually why I respect her somewhat. I really don't mind that she's in shitty movies because she knows it's a business. Both she and Robert think Twilight is dumb as hell.

Edit: Shit never mind she does like Twilight, I guess when I've seen Robert say negative things about it she's never stood up for it. He did say that if he wasn't in the movies he probably wouldn't have read the books and probably would've automatically hated them like most people.

He's also said the following: “Girls often say that Edward’s ‘sooo perfect,’ but he’s not. I do not like people who try to exert control in a relationship, when there is an imbalance. This is very wrong and very strange… The more I read the script, the more I hated this guy, so that’s how I played him, as a manic-depressive who hates himself.”

I've read the books (because hey fuck you I was a teenage girl once); he's really REALLY controlling. Oh hey Bella you're basically not allowed to see your best friend, ever. For a while they take turns spending the day with her like she's the child of divorced parents (they actually describe it like that in the book). Very wtf.

There's nothing wrong with reading the books. I read them when I was 19 (I'm male) because they were popular and I didn't want to jump on the Twilight hate bandwagon before I could justify it.

I did end up coming to the conclusion the were poor quality, but I can be certain the vast majority of Twilight hate comes from people who never read them. I think that's pretty pathetic.

I saw the first three movies with my ex, and that was enough to turn me off. The story just isn't for me. I can see why some people like it, paranormal/supernatural buffs, romance fanatics, ect. But personally I just got kind of bored with it... Mainly because the hype was so over the top that it just got to the point that it bothered me how obsessive she would get over it trying to get me into it.

To make it even worse, when I broke up with her she kept saying over and over "I feel just like Bella now, I have no choice in life..." Obsessive GF much?

Kristen Stewart isn't that terrible of an actress. Twilight's writing is just shit. She's so emotionless and hollow because she's written that way so that girls could fill in the role themselves and dream. I read somewhere that they actually put very little emphisis on Bella and more on Twinkletoes to appeal to young girls.

I saw Snow White and the Huntsman recently and she did the same emotionless acting she does in the Twilight movies, she just sort of furrowed her brow and parted her lips and called that emotion..

I've seen the Panic Room (with Jodie Foster), she's bad even when she was a kid (11 I think), and same acting in Catch that kid (about a girl who "hacks" into a bank vault).

I think it's unfortunate that most people judge her solely by Twilight, and even more so that most of those people probably haven't even seen Twilight. Adventureland was the bomb yo, and, yeah, that's all I've ever seen her in, but still, she's alright with me!

At this point, could anyone else play Bella Swan in Twilight? Probably not; if the studio tried to switch in another actress, fans would revolt.

I don't know, that girl the played "Bella" in Vampires suck did an equally horrible job on the screen. It was uncanny really. I bet she could pull it off and no one would notice. I mean, after all...how are teenage girls and 40 year old women even supposed to notice a girl who by definition is unremarkable with all of those young muscles on their screen?

I watched Snow White and the huntsman today, the movie was actually pretty good expect for Kristen Stewarts acting, she didnt smile, laugh, or show any compassion. Her expression's were the same her lines were very little and the lines that were given to her she messed up. Not to say that the least of her problems, the kissing scene that was supposed to provoke emotion looked like it hurt her to kiss the person on screen she literally looked like she was doing "speak" all over again. Movie would have been even more successful if they used someone else in her place.
