          thats only if they have probable cause to enter in the first place. the cops just cant walk into your house; they have to have a reason. If they have a reason, and then you say "no", they have to get a warrant. but they cant just walk up in your shit.

          I don't know what experience you've had with the court systems, but I've had a bit of practice and here's what I'll say; First off, the cops will lie their fucking asses off to get a conviction (say it smelled like weed, they saw something in the open, you admitted possession, etc.) If you have a good lawyer, he should get them to contradict themselves (the police report)/each other about why they entered. Any evidence gathered in an illegal search is inadmissible and lying under oath really should get the case thrown out. However, even if you catch them lying outright, a cowardly/stupid judge may choose to completely ignore the rules, because we "know he's a criminal." If you have any record of the encounter, witnesses, etc. it will greatly increase your chances.

          Also keep in mind that the prosecution will try to load the jury up with sheep who believe in good and evil. Any indication of free-thought will earn a juror a ticket home, so be careful about how you present your case (don't show outward disdain for the officers, act more like you assume it's some sort of misunderstanding that needs to be cleared up and don't be arrogant because they'll be looking for a reason to dislike you, at which point the evidence won't matter anymore).
