did you ever have a parent tell you that 15 applications handed in during 1 8 hour period, 3 weeks into summer, was "not nearly enough"?

No need to be. :-)

My parents more or less didn't pay attention to what I did during my youth. So I ended up doing nothing for a lot of years. Now I'm 38 and and have about half a year left on my first bachelors degree. If my parents had pushed me some more I might have been here almost 20 years ago. Not that I really blame them. Today I of course blame myself for beeing lazy back then.

So parents pushing is a good thing. But you're right 15 apps in a day is quite excessive. :-)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am in the exact situation you just got out of. I know how it feels for your parents to just slam down all your work you did sending out applications with just one sentence. AWFUL. So here is a congrats and an upvote in hopes of making you feel BADASS!
