Denzel said most sociopaths are atheists, not most atheists are sociopaths.

Wow, switching sociopaths and atheists around makes it a completely different statement. I don't think mentioning it was necessary but whatever.

I can't tell whether or not that was sarcasm, but operating under the assumption that it was, it is important.

The difference between the two is very important, let's make that statement more radical and say all sociopaths are atheists. That does not imply that all (or even most) atheists are sociopaths.

Denzel Washington could back that up by using his race. All people with what we call "black" skin are human beings, but that does not mean all human beings have black skin. A very simplistic example, but true nonetheless.

This is operating under the assumption you were being sarcastic, in which case I hope you do see my point behind this. If you weren't and I just misunderstood, I apologize for preaching to the choir.

It wasn't sarcasm at all! What I meant was that I don't think Denzel mentioning Atheists was necessary when talking about sociopaths. Sorry for the confusion. Your point makes perfect sense.

Sorry about that, it's hard to pick out the sarcasm over the internet. But I do agree, that was highly irrelevant. Maybe an interesting fact, but so far off topic it's hard to understand why he said that at all.

I work near a christian college, so when this happened to me I was pretty surprised.

A while back I was bagging groceries at work, and this guy comes through my line wearing a shirt with this on it.

I'm a genius atheist, If I had any motivation to do some hardwork I'd probably become another Hitler and the world would be cleansed...not sure about buddhists, I'd leave those around... they are cool.
