Unsub from all the default subreddits. Find some smaller ones that cater to your interests. Reddit can be okay if you use it properly. From time to time I dip into /r/all just to see how things are devolving.

I've been on this site for 3 years over a few different accounts. There is a pretty big differnce in content quallity and the userbase.

Not just molested, the narrative is pretty clear that her father is outright fucking her.

The bit at the end, a pile of dejected, broken toys heaped up outside her window, is nightmarish to me.

There's another where she draws her family for school, there's a breakfast scene that is pretty fucking harrowing. Her mother and brothers clearly blame her.

The absolute best/worst one is where she's taking a bath and it's pretty fucking clear she blames herself. ("Make sure you wash your hair with water ONLY - smelling the shampoo will only turn Daddy on.")

It's a stark series. Really well scripted. Monstrous, honestly. Fucking monstrous.

There are plenty of fantastical elements. It's not referenced as often in season 1 but you'll feel right at home in season 2.

He's right though. Magic is a rare thing in ASoIaF. A lot of other stories would have brought out dragon riding very early on, as well as offensive spells and such. With this, magic is mostly relegated to specific characters and places and doesn't factor into most situations. Personally I really like that about the series, but to each his own.
