There's a Pokemon Line... much like the Ewok Line of May 25th, 1973. I'd say anyone born before 1982 (and was in turn older than 14 in 1996 when Pokemon arrived to NA) is much more likely to have a negative opinion of Pokemon. To people born on the left of the Pokemon Line, Pokemon were strange little creatures adored by strange little kids.

You can downvote me, but I'm one of the few pokemon fans on the left of the line. I can assure you, most of my peers feel differently. And I tested my hypothesis, by asking a friend of mine a moment ago if he liked Pokemon. He replied, "Yeah, they're ok I guess." He was born in '86. Science bitches... it works.
