If you become interested in trying, I'd say you're in a lucky state. Some might say I'm lucky because I've done it for a while and had many wonderful experiences, but you are lucky because you're in a much more stable situation so you can go straight to top shelf and nice glasswear.

Means you should to try it sometime. If you're comfortable with it and have people you trust around. First time trying it I was 16 or 17, then didn't really start smoking until I was 20 (tried it a couple times between 16 and 20). It's good every once and a while, and best during daylight.

33 here. Never did it. After getting a government job 7 years ago that pretty much shut any possibility down. I want to try it so bad. The random drug tests and risk of pretty much instantly getting fired is too high (heh...pun).

Well for a gENTleman like yourself, there is also /r/eldertrees you can browse. Many seasoned tokers gather there, and some posts are insightful. If you've never been, 420chan.org/weed/ is a different experience altogether, sometimes good for a laugh and other times some posts are just bad but there's always SLAYER (meaning good vibes on the site because it auto-corrects to SLAYER). NOTE: Just posting my thoughts, not advocating against r/trees or anything

yeah this subreddit is pretty open so feel free to post... but about the smoking part... here's the deal, you don't even need to smoke to try cannabis... you can eat it, baked in other goodies. I suggest you try at least once to know how it feels like. Try it in a comfortable setting, not that the high is that intense, but I just think if you're going to try, might as well create a good context for it.

I think it's a good thing to at least know what it is.

its legal here but I was against it until reddit. then I got a disease with pain and decided to try edibles a few days per week. at the age of 34 I started smoking daily. turn 35 this week and pain is under control, I'm a daily smoker and happier than ive ever been.

I was 25 when I first really tried it (the Coca Cola can/plastic straw/Al foil bong I tried to hit in middle school doesn't count) the night before I got married. My roomate was a pothead and he noticed me pacing and relentlessly preparing everything for the morning. "Dude. You wanna hit this?" was all it took for me to toke a few. Didn't start really smoking until 27 though, when my neighbors opened up to me that they did.
