I'm not a huge fan of this quote because it is the exact type of logic that fundies tend to use. "God loves you whether you believe in him or not." There are other more profound and well thought out NdGT quotes, that I prefer.

Coming from a scientist (he's a scientist, right?), this just weirds me out. The only unquestionable truth is raw unqualified experience, which is the gold standard of undeniability. The very power of science comes from its questionability.
