Kid blocked two solid shots on goal. Went down for the first one, got right back up in time to block the second one. That's good defensive hustle. My team, that kid gets the last slice of pizza post-game.

Something similar happened while I was playing soccer when I was younger. This big (strong) kid on our team could kick a soccer ball and clear 3/4 of the length of the soccer field.

It was rainy and cold and soggy and everyone was miserable. This big kid kicked the ball trying to clear it, and it hit this kid in the face, literally knocking him off his feet. But then, the ball bounced back to the big guy, and as the knocked-off-his-feet-kid was pulling himself to his feet, the big guy clears it again.

Hit the kid in the face a second time. The whistle blew and my whole team was on the ground laughing. The other team was NOT happy.
