If you stepped on your cat by mistake you'd be swimming in karma.

[–]ChronicLegend[S] 31 points32 points ago

My cat passed away now i have nothing to step on except my dog...

[–]Bignut_Squirrel 49 points50 points ago

Well don't step as hard on the dog.

[–]Apostolate 0 points1 point ago

Or do, and then post "I love my best friend today" pictures, then find new pets in the neighborhood.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points ago

It is okay. Pictures of the body will still bring you Karma. Simply prop him up and open his eyes. If the eyes have rotted out, tape his paw to your curtains and say that he fell asleep with his claws stuck on the curtains. OR.. OR.. OR.. OR.. You can attach helicopter blades to his limbs, hollow him out, and use him as a RC helicopter.

Dead Cats = Karma Mine waiting to be drilled.

Well, you're a treat.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

I'm sorry. That guy plugged a dead cat for karma. I was just playing along!

[–]apextek 1 point2 points ago

you weren't stepping on it right

[–]bigkix 5 points6 points ago

change the title. Quick!

[–]CowsRTasty 2 points3 points ago

Ooooor a pool of your own blood

[–]dismalscientist 9 points10 points ago

Because of me doing this, my dog now associates being stepped on with immediate affection. She gets really excited if you step on her paw by accident.

[–]MyNiftyUsername 1 point2 points ago

Mine too. It's pretty funny actually.

[–]CanolaIsAlsoRapeseed 6 points7 points ago

I don't even do that anymore because I've come to realize that my dog gets under my feet on purpose.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points ago

I had a pet cockatiel when i was younger. My biggest fear was that i would step on and kill my little buddy. For that reason, i changed my walk so that my feet never get too high off the ground. That way, i would simply kick him instead of step on him. I never did step on him but i ran over his little bird toe with my computer chair. My brain nearly exploded with anxiety over the pain i caused him. Fortunately, I was far more hurt than he was.

My mom's aunt had a bird she stepped on. One night she was getting ready to go out and she forgot to close the cage. Her bird got out of the cage and started following her. She didn't notice, took a step back, heard the most horrible sound she'd ever heard. She was wearing heels. She was heartbroken and refused to get another bird after that :(

But she's also a huge bitch so I don't really give a fuck.

[–]Surfacetovolume 1 point2 points ago

My cat does this, so I believe you.

[–]QuintinT 4 points5 points ago

Whats this from?

[–]covalentligature 11 points12 points ago

I think it's from Supernatural

[–]TheJugganawt 1 point2 points ago

yes, i suspect that it looks like sam but im not sure from which episode and season

[–]loldan 0 points1 point ago

I've seen it in a blooper reel. Someone further down said it was Season 7 Outtakes.

[–]covalentligature 0 points1 point ago

That, I couldn't put my finger on either.

[–]humblecunt 5 points6 points ago

It's from the season 7 outtakes.

[–]pumpkinhooker 0 points1 point ago

Ah. I thought it looked like the setting for the 7 Deadly Sins episode.

[–]TheJugganawt 0 points1 point ago

It's okay, OP will surely deliver... He will...

[–]radamenthc 0 points1 point ago

My guess is that it's from My Name is Earl.

[–]pyronarwhal 2 points3 points ago

This is the greatest thing I have ever read... UPVOTE. Yaaaayy.

[–]ptweezy 1 point2 points ago

Yaaaayy.

[–]WombatHerder 1 point2 points ago

Oh god yeah, and they start whimpering and their jaw shakes.. I guess I'll just go burn in hell for eternity.

[–]deadlyeggroll 0 points1 point ago

"Welcome to the pearly gates. Welp everything looks good here. Seems like you've been a very productive member of society...wait.....WAIT.....YOU STEPPED ON YOUR DOGS PAW?! BURN IN HELL, YOU HORRIBLE BASTARD! Have a nice eternity!"

[–]Ralanost 1 point2 points ago

And this is why I love big dogs. They are tough and are fun to rough house with. And chances are when I step on them/trip over them, I am more likely to hurt myself than them.

[–]ivegotboobs 3 points4 points ago

I literally laughed out loud.

[–]Raniz 0 points1 point ago

If you are affectionate with your pet after stepping on them they'll think that they did something good and will put themselves in that position again intentionally.

Just ignore them and let them figure out that nothing good comes from being stepped on.

Source: I've had 3 cats and a dog and I'm currently raising a kitten.

[–]Nansai 0 points1 point ago

I've been showing affection to my dog whenever I've accidentally hurt him since I got him (3ish years ago) and now he has stopped caring and just walks away. I swear next to nothing hurts that dog.

[–]N7Maddeh 0 points1 point ago

Implying that you sometimes intentionally step on your dog?

[–]prettypleaseburrito 0 points1 point ago

Yesterday i shooed a random cat away that came in my window and watched it get thrashed by a car. Wasn't really hurt, tires didnt hit it.

Still, felt exactly this way :(

[–]malcolmreynolds1989 0 points1 point ago

Benefits of having a wolf/husky mix.

[–]Nyawk -2 points-1 points ago

As opposed to stepping on him on purpose?
