          What I gleaned from this was that it is 100% illegal in Canada but more subtle in the US. In 2002, the Supreme Court struck down a ban that targeted all forms of virtual or cartoon porn. (In most cases where people got sent to jail, they also had real cp, not just anime/manga.) However, this does not protect against "obscene" speech. This is why Christopher Hendley got nailed in court, even though he only had anime porn never any of the real stuff. I'm just flabbergasted. Btw pretty much across the board, except for Russia, Japan, and Italy, loli is illegal.
