This reminds me of when I went to church, my paster let me re-fill the holy water. I expected some kind of majestic bottle or something but instead my paster told me to go to the bathroom and use the water from the sink. My childhood died a little that day, but my paster did tell me a joke. How do you get water? YOU BOIL THE HELL OUT OF IT!

In the catholic church, it is recommended to use holy water, but any water is considered valid... all it needs is to flow

some sects even say that it doesn't even have to be pure water, so long as the rite is performed with the purpose of baptizing, so saliva and blood are fair game...

That's only the Catholics who do "holy water". It has no biblical grounds. (Judaistic ceremonies are no longer part of God's covenant.)
